About Me
M-STYLE PRODUCTIONS is an organization of two producers, A-PLUS and NERVTUNEZ, that have been working out of Los Angeles for the last six years, creating, refining and mastering the art of music making. It has been nothing more then fate to draw these two immigrant master talents together to procreate a fresh, new, authentic sound for the music world. That fate comes by a mutual friend that the two shared, who organized the joining of the two different, yet crucial talents together, to hybridize the sound that is now known as M-STYLE. NERVTUNEZ is not a stranger to music. He has been playing the violin since the age of six. However, just like most six year olds taking music lessons in Russia, he didn’t like the agonizing process of practices and the lessons. That is until the age of 12, when he joined the jazz band. There, besides playing the violin, NERVTUNEZ also had to play the piano, which only advanced his musical background. Having to tour throughout the former Soviet Union and Russia, the 13 year old also mastered the skill of improvisation, which basically means playing pieces as he went along, freestyling it, so to speak. His love for the jazz music made him spend countless hours in music libraries looking for good jazz compositions so that he can play with his band. His main influences were masters of jazz music, such as George Gershwin, Paul Desmond and John Birks “Dizzy†Gillespie. But the political and economic nature of Russia forced NERVTUNEZ to move to the States with his family, where he believed his life in music would surely be over with. Little did he know that he would get to re-tune his violin and flex his fingers to start playing both, his violin and the keys again, not with his old jazz band, rather with a new friend, A-PLUS. A-PLUS has been demonstrating his music talents since his early childhood, where he had to play Persian drums and percussions during family gatherings. From very early in his life, A-PLUS developed an ear for music, which enabled him to make drum patterns that will be loved by crowds. Fancy drum patterns and percussions led A-PLUS to start recognizing good musical grooves and patterns, the essentials for any kind of music piece. However, A-PLUS had to move to other countries twice by age twelve, and finally settled in Los Angeles. However, his walkabout introduced him to the music of Arabic culture as well, strengthening his ethnical music skills. In America A-PLUS was drawn to the music played on radio, where Hip-Hop was starting to find acceptance amid pop and rock. Soon, just like nearly all kids in Los Angeles, A-PLUS was drawn to Hip-Hop. The love for the music made him study not just the lyrics that the rappers were spitting, but the layers of sounds that the producers were using on their beats. He started improvising on the basics of making tracks by including Persian/Arabic elements in the construction. And, upon hooking up with fellow M-STYLE producer NERVTUNEZ, the both started making music together, each adding his unique touch to the fresh, attractive hybrid sound. M-STYLE has a relatively long history behind it. Since 2001 they have been working on music, and have been involved in numerous productions for artists such as Klientel, Dru Down, MasterMindz, PICASSOS, Krys Ivory, Dippy Fly, Conway, G. Malone, Lady G & Erfan. Currently M-STYLE is working on two different R&B sensations, Kare and Quene, as well as a new flourishing Hip-Hop starlette , Crystal. The team is specialized in making a Heat after Heat. So what sets M-STYLE apart from any other amateur producer/s who are able to afford a few hundred dollars worth of equipment and their computer? QUALITY…. Anyone who has ever heard any tracks from the duo, whether a sample or an original production, is quick to recognize the crispiness that each sound possesses in their tracks. For anyone who wants to doubt the professionalism that M-STYLE has, all you have to do is just listen and pay attention to their work, and believe me, YOU WILL BE CONVINCED that M-STYLE IS the Biggest New Producers out of West Coast, PERIOD.
