Dave ,Willie, and Dylan

About Me

It's been almost six months since the band's current line-up got running. We got the 2 new songs on here(as promised), and are now booking shows throughout the lower mainland. Dave, Willie, and Dylan had their first show - an impromptu show @ the Pic-(thanks to all who were involved/attended) which was a blast. "It was like a small party", notes Dave, "about 15-20 friends, who we are really happy came out with such short notice. I hope every show is that way....just a whack load of people ready to go insane. Or a bit nuts at least. It's be awesome if all the shows were like that, but just had more people each time, with a bigger/larger amount of energy pulsing from the party." While working on the current set list for upcoming shows, the bands continues to work on a few other songs as well. "There's two in particular that I think we're really looking at", writes Dave, "One is called 'Warehouse Mouse', which may change in title, but not substance. The other is one we've neglected for a while, called 'Roll The Dice'. There's others as well, we will see what ones we actually look at, record, play, et cetera. Either way, the group will have another few songs to add to the set by the end of summer." That is as far as the set for shows go. As far as future recordings go, A.P.B. is looking to head into the studio before the end of '07, to re-record 3 tracks for an official demo. There are rumors as to where it will be recorded, and the band is content to let y'all keep talkin' 'till the official word is out. The biggest question on everyone's mind seems to be, "What does the band sound like(OR who)?". Willie was most eloquent when he said, "It's what would've happened to grunge, if it had the chance to evolve/progress." So, progressive grunge? Evolved garage band? Nirvana meets Nickelback? Pearl Jam meets Audioslave? Dave muses, "Our music is like a big fuckin' backhand from your parents, when you did something wrong as a kid. It's hard, loud, fast, aggressive, surprising, and most of all - you totally deserve it! For real though, listen to it, and find out if you like it yourself first. Then you describe it to others. We're just gonna make smart-ass jokes and answer with corny descriptions otherwise." ..
