About Me

Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!"Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate..."One of the things that has never ceased to amaze me is that in all of the time I've had this (Dante) quote on my page, not one person has ever asked me what it means. Sure, some of my friends don't have to ask because they know the language... while others don't have to ask because they know me. So for the rest of you, what it means (in English) is:.."Abandon all hope, ye who enter here..". Hmmm... You might ask... .."Is this really an appropriate way to start off an 'about me' section of ones page?" Well, in answer to such a question, I shall answer that... .."With me... It quite possibly is. Because once you know me... really know me... you'll never be the same..." ~~~~~~~Now this is always interesting. You know... talking about oneself. Where do I even begin? Well, here goes: I'm a single, full-time Dad... a Bostonian... a Christian... and a former United States Marine... who has now chosen to become a Peaceful Warrior. My motivation for being here on MySpace is simply to network for acting... not to find myself a woman ( I'll leave that to fate, which I find a lot more interesting and realiable than cyberspace :), so please don't get the wrong impression from my photos or comments. I'm also an Actor of both stage and screen. Lots of tattoos and piercings, but only the peeps close enough to me ever really get to see them all, due to the fact that they are all rather strategically placed. LOL ;-) I love my life, I love my family, I love my friends, I love (most) people, and I'm very thankful to be here on this crazy planet of ours. I have a lot of friends, and for that I am also very thankful. Only a select handful are extremely close to me, and only a few of those (select) really and truly know me on a deep and personal basis. I suppose I would call these people my ..'very best friends..'. And in my life... I have been blessed with more than one... which is so very cool ;-) I generally associate myself with people who are heading in a positive direction... those who are rather artistic (in whatever form they choose to express themselves)... and those who are open minded... panoramic thinkers. My (closest) friends are as young as 18... and as old as 100+. I find my younger friends help to keep me young, full of life, and constantly in a position where I'm broadening my horizons... while my older friends offer me wisdom that can only be acquired through vast experience. My interests mostly revolve around acting, but I also enjoy writing, exercise, music, and... well... anything that's mutually acceptable and enjoyable between two consenting adults. I absolutely abhor ignorance, and believe that the most ignorant and distasteful blemish to ever come out of the human race has been bigotry and racism, in any shape or form it may rear its ugly head. To put it mildly... I think it sucks! It is pure evil, and I have no room for it in my life. As a former Jarhead, I've seen enough unrest to know that peace is the only way to go. I have a zest for life that will never quit... and although I've already had the distinct pleasure of accomplishing a lot of goals and dreams in my not-so-sheltered life... I still have a very phat handful I plan to seize before I break on through to the other side. For instance, I have attempted (numerous times) to get onto the reality show ..'SURVIVOR..'... and will continue trying until they let me on!!! By then it may be ..'SENIOR SURVIVOR..', but I WILL get on sooner or later, because I will wear them out!!! They really have no idea how much fun I would be! And the way I look at it... it's a paid vacation with the possiblitly of making some really big bucks... as well as an excellent way to get out there as an actor!!! :-) I'm also planning to do my first Alcatraz swim next year. The ..'Alcatraz Sharkfest Swim 2008..', but that is still only a (tentative) plan. And no... I will NOT be doing it naked! The very last thing I need is for some fish to think they see a free mealticket without a hook. Ouch!!! Nope, a .3 ml wetsuit for this boy... thank you very much!!! I am paradoxical... I am enigmatic... I am the quintessential esoteric... and I am a man who has squeezed more into this life than many people could manage to squeeze into several lifetimes. Yet if there is only one thing you remember from all that I've said... then please remember this quote (from somebody else): .."Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..".With that said, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Stefano Capone and I am an actor. Not a great actor (perhaps someday, but not just yet), and not yet a very famous actor... but an actor nonetheless. I started acting way back in the seventies, but then (for some personal reasons) took a very long hiatus. Since my ..'come back..' just over three years ago, I've done a whole bunch of theatre... a couple of television shows... a couple of commercials... a half-dozen Indie films... and one mainstream film. Really not much, but believe me when I say that I love to act. It is by far the funnest job I have ever had. As for that silly IMDB... it still only lists (i think) two of my works, but I really haven't much control over that~~~~~~~There are also quite a number of other things that I am (or have been), but I've decided to keep it simple and just let you all know that I'm here to keep in touch with my many friends, to make a few new friends, and to network with other Actors, as well as Directors and Producers. ~~~~~~~Since I've been on MySpace, I've met some of the coolest people I have ever known. Regular people... like you and me... just floating around... enjoying the anonymity that can only be found in Cyber Space. I've also met a few idiots, but they never last. You see, I have a rather interesting way of separating the wheat from the chaff. And once I do, I simply toss them into the fire where they belong. Life is too short for games my friends, and it's also too short to suffer ourselves among fools. So as a general rule... I simply don't. ~~~~~~~Well, I suppose that is all for now. I believe a man or a woman is quite often known by the company they keep. As for me, I have a very eclectic group of friends. Perhaps some of them subscribe to thoughts or opinions or even lifestyles that I don't necessarily agree with. But I don't really care about all of that, because if there is one thing I have learned in my one hundred and two years of life (myspace will only allow me to claim 99 or it messes all sorts of stuff up)... it is tolerance. ~~~~~~~Therefore, Love me without fear ... Trust me without questioning ... Need me without demanding ... Want me without restrictions ... Accept me without change ... Desire me without inhibition ... And we should get along quite famously. ~~~~~~~

My Interests

"In Vino Veritas" - Pliny The Elder a.k.a. Gaius Plinius Secundus, (23 AD – August 24, 79 AD), -And then there is.. ART. Anybody who know me, also knows that I love art. Below is the work of the mother of a dear friend of mine in Italy. Her name is Patricia Ann Williams, and her web site addy is: www.patriciaannwilliams.comSILENCE. SOLITUDE. RAREFIED ATMOSPHERES. FINISHED SPACES. RESTLESS LIGHT. THE WORKS OF PATRICIA ANN WILLIAMS TRAVEL ALL THE ROADS THAT LEAD TO METAPHYSICAL PAINTING…BUT IT IS A VERY PERSONAL METAPHYSICS, PRIVATE, EXPLICIT, WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL INTROSPECTIONS, AND MAGIC EXCURSIONS IN THE INTANGIBLE, WITH TENDER SYMBOLS THAT WINK AT THE DIVINE… AND LIGHT BECOMES THE PRIME AGENT IN THESE ESISTENZIAL FLASH BACKS...[IMG]http://i1 35.photobucket.com/albums/q160/superchudo_photos/mans64.jpg[ /IMG][IMG]http://i135. photobucket.com/albums/q160/superchudo_photos/mans27.jpg[/IM G]Perhaps I'm interested in a little bit of this stuff they call Eternal Love. Now tell me... isn't this just totally AWESOME???!!!What else am I interested in??? Hmmm... I suppose I'm mostly interested in meeting other interesting people. Besides that, I'm also interested in music, theatre, film, acting, exercise, exploring, hiking, bicycling, power walks, good food (especially Italian), travelling, cold guinness beer, fine red wine, and women. Ah... yes... women. In my opinion, women... without a doubt... are the greatest of all God's creations. I adored and respected my Mother, and I adore and respect my three sisters... so I suppose that is the foundation of my adoration and respect of women. I also have daughters, and I love them dearly. There really is much too long of a list to display all that interests me... or perhaps I should say... us... because I have no less than seven personalities. There were once eight, but I dumped one of them in a raging river (see photos) last year. LOL JK ;-) Well, all of this talking does rather cause me to wonder if indeed... "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom". Do you think it's true??? I'm really interested in your opinion on that, because I have certainly formulated my own :-)

I'd like to meet:

Wow... what a loaded question!!! I've already met a lot of cool people, but some (and I repeat... some) of the people I'd still like to meet are: Nelson Mandela, Sophia Loren, Vin Diesel, Brigette Bardot, William Shatner, Alizee, Russell Crowe, Mick Jagger, Calista Flockhart, Steven Tyler, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Britney Murphy, Sylvester Stallone, Leonard Nemoy, Rosa Parks, Robin Williams, Penelope Cruz, Robert Plant, Serena, George Lopez, Pamela Anderson, Al Pacino, Aishwarya Rai, Nicolas Cage, Adriana Karembeu, Robert DeNiro, Apnea, Clint Eastwood, Caprise Bourret, Keifer Sutherland, Uma Thurman, Wesley Snipes, Aria Giovanni, John Travolta, Cameron Diaz, Bill Cosby, and Madonna. Besides them, there is also the list that will have to wait until I 'break on through to the other side'. Namely: James Dean, Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Elvis, Jesus, John Lennon, J.F.K., Albert Einstein, Amelia Earhart, George Harrison, Madre Teresa di Calcutta, Keith Moon, Marilyn Monroe, James Douglas Morrison, and Shakespeare. I suppose I could go on... Who knows... perhaps I'll even meet some extremely cool people right here on this site... people who will one day go far beyond their mere 'fifteen minutes of fame'. I know you're here... so let's hook up!!!HINT: I get a lot of 'friend requests', but only accept the ones who somehow connect with me on one level or another. So please understand and respect the fact that I will not accept a 'friend request' from a person who doesn't write to me, telling me who they are and why they are choosing to be friends with me. That is what I do when I send a 'friend request', so that is what I expect in return. Peace out... eS

Music:

There's only one person who will ever understand what this song really means... OJ2YJ
Gimme that Rock n Roll music Baby!!! I'm from the 'old school', which means The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Who, Lynrd Skynrd, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Bad Company, The Animals, Cream, Black Sabbath, The Guess Who, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead, Queen, Joe Cocker, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton (post Cream), B.B.King, Elivs (the old stuff), Steppenwolf, Alice Cooper, Iron Butterfly, The Eagles... and many others. However, at the very top of my list absolutely has to be The Doors. Jim Morrison was unquestionably one of the greatest songwriters and poets of the twentieth century. Far ahead of his time and a true visionary. I basically like all music, with a few exceptions (which I'll refrain from mentioning). I also dig Tiger Army, Shane McGowan, Alanis Morissette, Mustard Plug, (irr) Rev. Horton Heat, some punk, some psychobilly, some rockabilly, almost all jazz, some trance, a little bit of hip hop, some latino, nearly all reggae, some pop, some country, most blues, classical (when I run or write), and some of the new stuff that's coming out of Eastern Europe... such as my personal friend Serge. If you want to hear Russia's greatest new singing sensation, then click on his photo on my 'myspace' and follow the links to hear his music. He's a talented musician, song writer, composer, and singer who is rising very fast on the charts. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!! ;-) And then of course there's my good friend Adama. If you want something fresh... check out her sound. It's hot! ... and so is she ;-) Music Video Codes By .. this is the former headquarters for The Grateful Dead... 710 ashbury street; san francisco (haight district) r.i.p. Jerry Garcia r.i.p. and this is the former residence of Janis Joplin... 112 lyon street; san francisco (haight district). btw... she got evicted from here for 'possession'... of a dog ;-) r.i.p, Janis r.i.p.oh (lest i forget)... if you haven't listened to this cat by the name of Adam yet, then you're in for a real treat. he's on my friends list. find him and add him. but most of all... listen to him!!! Let's start with a little bit of Jim... G-5, 2nd Row, 6th DivisionTHE WHO - something from the archives - check out Keith Moon on those drums!!! HOW ABOUT SOME IAN ANDERSON & JETHRO TULL... NOW FOR A LITTLE BIT OF 'THE ROLLING STONES'... 'Ruby Tuesday' - Well, I'm not gonna give it up, but yeah, she knows exactly who she is. I know her... I love her... and I would never wanna change her... even though I've tried. Love, OJ 'Angie' - Such an incredible song... Credence Clearwater Revival... John & Tom Fogerty, along with Stu Cook and Doug Clifford... Wow!!!

Movies:

I thought I'd already filled this out, but it must have been lost in the shuffle somehow, so I'll do it again. Briefly: I like movies... My very favorite would have to be 'What Dreams May Come', but there's a reason for that and if we're ever close enough... maybe i'll even tell you what it is. Ah... there are so many others... 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Fight Club', 'Vanilla Sky', 'Field of Dreams', 'Water Boy', 'Army of Darkness', 'My Girl', 'R.H.P.S.', 'Highlander', 'Walk In The Clouds', 'The Omen', 'Godfather (series)', 'Dead Poets Society', 'Queen of the Damned', 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', '12 Monkeys', 'White Chicks', 'U-Turn', 'The Exorcist', 'Bugsy', 'Dracula', 'Napoleon Dynamite', 'Natural Born Killers', 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'Frequency', 'Interview with a Vampire', 'Big Fish', 'Kalifornia', 'Pulp Fiction', 'Office Space', 'Con Air', 'Moulin Rouge', 'The Notebook' (which is my ultimate fav love story), 'Romeo & Juliet', 'Face Off', 'Second Hand Lions', Rebel Without a Cause', '50 First Dates', 'Training Day', 'Girl, Interrupted', 'Gone With The Wind', 'The Color Purple', 'Road to Perdition', 'Dog Day Afternoon', 'Meet the Parents', 'The Wall', 'Meet the Fockers', 'The Wedding Singer', 'Butterfly Effect', 'The Recruit', The 13th Floor', 'Cinderella Man', 'Jar Head'... The list really is quite endless. I'm very, very interested in Horror Films, Independent Films, and Foreign Films. One of my dreams (that I shall certainly see come to fruition in the not too distant future) is to write and produce some indie films. To me, that would be the ultimate way to spend my time and creative energies... .. .. .. src="http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/9837/explicitrating3fd .gif" border="0" width="244" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" / .. Below is the trailer/teaser for 'Prize Of The Pacific'. I'll send out a bulletin as soon as the film is released. .. width="425" height="350" ..And here we have some pre-productioun interviews for the same film... 'Prize Of The Pacific'. As a note of disclaimer, please don't think (from what i say in the interview) that I advocate the use of drugs, because I don't. Sure, there was a time in my life when I partied. But then again, i'm a product of the sixties & seventies. At least I'm going to lie and say that I never inhaled ;-) In any case, I am referring to the past... not the present. I'd also like to say that during the filming of P.O.P., I weighed a whopping 115.7 kg, but I'm now back down to 99.3 kg. Still not at my goal weight, but getting there fast! ;-).. width="425" height="350" .. And here is the Trailer/Teaser for my last film, which is called, 'PocaHauntUs'. Enjoy... PocaHauntUs

Television:

I don't really watch a lot of television, but when I do, it's either a reality show, C.S.I., or Letterman. Believe it or not, I've actually applied for Survivor eight (that's right... 8!!!) times, and they still haven't called me. Do you think they're scared??? I do ;-)SEMPER FI.. width="425" height="350" .. YEAH... THAT'D BE ME... RIGHT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS KOREAN COMMERCIAL... AS THE TAILOR FOR THE HOTTEST KOREAN ACTRESS IN... WELL, IN KOREA!!! JEON JI-HYUN... WHO WILL SOON BE MAKING HER (AMERICAN) FILM DEBUT RIGHT HERE IN GOOD OL' HOLLYWOOD!!!

Books:

Hmmm... Where do I begin??? Books (whether novels, novellas, or poetry)are to the mind, what food is to the body. When I stopped counting (a very long time ago), I'd read almost three thousand books... and that isn't counting the ones I read as a kid!!! Some of my fav writers are: Leo Tolstoi, Aldous Huxley, Walt Whitman, James Michener, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Stephen King, Ernest Hemingway, Andy Warhol, Emily Dickinson, James Clavell, Truman Capote, Edgar Allen Poe, Allen Ginsberg, Oscar Wilde, Friedrich Nietzshe, and Jack Kourac. Once again, I could go on... and on... and on...

Heroes:

This is a really tough one, but aside from my parents, I think that anybody who encourages and/or promotes peace is my hero... along with most non-conformists, and just about anybody who does his or her own thing without tripping on what anybody else thinks about it. Be unique... be an individual... and simply be true to yourself... and you too will be a hero.
