Let's see, I adore hockey. When a hockey game is on TV, just leave me alone and everything will be just fine....I like reading, singing (mostly in the privacy of my own home, but have been known to do so in public with the assistance of a few Morgan and cokes), video games, watching movies, going to the zoo with my family, video games, football games, video games....oh, and video games. ..-games I have been known to play are Star Wars: Galaxies, Everquest I & II, and City of Heroes/Villians (with my "Gimme A Reason Robots!!). Offline ones I like are the Total War games, NCAA 200-whatever, Civ IV, and sadly Spider Solitare! I like getting into conversations on just about anything - especially if there is tea or hot chocolate involved.

Do me a favor, please click on the above link - it only takes a second, it's not a survey or anything. It just helps give me resources in that game to help me kick other people's asses!!
Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Gen. George Patton, Denzel Washington, Kate Beckensale, the band a-Ha, Dana Delany, Eddie Izzard, Angelina Jolie, Gen. Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, Mario Lemieux, the 1980 USA Hockey Team, Boomer Esaisan, Joe Montana, Snoopy, and Jesus (although I will get to meet him someday :)). Definately have to meet Sean Connery and Harrison Ford - especially seeing how our oldest son is named Sean Harrison. Kermit the Frog would be fun, too. Actually Gonzo, Animal, and Crazy Harry would be good as well! We could blow stuff up and it would be fun. AND!!! The 2007-2008 Pittsburgh Penguins. Thanks guys so much for the fun ride! It was was INCREDIBLE!! Let's do it again next year, eh?

Pick something and chances are I like it. It mostly depends on what mood I'm in, I guess. I tend to like soundtracks/scores from movies. My all time favorite band is a-Ha (the Take On Me band for those not familiar with the '80's - and yes, they do have more than one album). Garth Brooks will always be special to me because I sang a modified version of "The Dance" to my then girlfriend, now wife when I asked her to marry me. This is just a random example of music I like: Daughtry, Linkin Park, Alan Jackson, Tori Amos, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, James Horner, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses (the early years), No Doubt, 3 Doors Down, Annie Lennox, Bowling For Soup, The Beatles, Faith Hill, Cowboy Junkies, Eagles, Elvis, Garbage, Jimmy Buffet, John Denver, Matchbox 20, The Killers, Shania Twain, Dido..... Getting the idea yet? :) Plus any song that goes well with the soundtrack of my life in my head. Tends to make the movie a bit more interesting I think! One of the special songs to me is Adiemus - it was on my i-Pod when the C-17 took off in Afghanistan to bring me home. :)
This is actually pretty hard because I like so many movies. I like James Bond movies, any of the Tom Clancy books (except I hate what they did to Sum of All Fears), the Star Wars movies (the original 3 are still the best), any of the Star Trek movies (especially Star Trek II), Gladiator, We Were Soldiers (makes me cry every damn time), Saving Private Ryan (that one does, too), most of the old World War II movies (esp. Patton, A Bridge Too Far, and Tora! Tora! Tora). Memphis Belle was pretty good, but I'm partial to B-17's to begin with. Let's see, there's also Braveheart, The Patriot, Starship Troopers (are you sensing a pattern yet?), Lord of The Rings movies, India Jones movies (not so much the second one though), Miracle, Slap Shot, Das Boot, U-571, Highlander, Taps, and a whole lot more......Yes, I have no life.....Probably the ultimate movie is Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. Love Actually was good because any movie that has Christmas Lobsters rules!!
I like watching football (Ohio State and the Cincinnati Bengals) and hockey (Pittsburgh Penguins and Vancouver Canucks). I love the new version of Battlestar Galactica series on the Sci-Fi Channel. I watched the original series back in the day, and this is soooo much better. I am getting addicted to Deal or No Deal and Dancing with the Stars. I watched the HBO series Rome when it was on and the Showtime series The L Word. I've watched The Tudors series on Showtime as well, but I've fallen behind on the recent episodes. The Riches is becoming one of my new favorite shows and it will be nice when Nip/Tuck comes back on. I still watch old episodes of Magnum, P.I. and Miami Vice on the Sleuth Channel. I did watch America's Next Top Model, Workout 2, and The Next Pussycat Doll when they were on (watched them with Amy!)
Types of shows that I absolutely hate are those reality shows like The Bachelor and the sucktastic Temptation Island - basically the shows where people are screwing with people's emotions. I have no desire whatsoever to watch peoples' hearts and spirit get outright crushed - even if they are stupid enough to go on these shows to begin with. There's enough suck in life, why do we need to show it on TV? One thing I refuse to watch anymore is the news - any of it. News isn't reporting information anymore. It's overhyped stories (whether the stories are true or not does not matter) meant to get ratings to get advertising dollars. The NEWS is a BUSINESS!! Stepping down off small soap box now.
I love reading Tom Clancy novels and Star Wars books by Timothy Zahn and Michael Stackpole. Harold Coyle is another of my favorite authors. I'll read just about anything so long as it looks interesting.
My wife, Amy, my 2 boys, Sean & Neil, my Parents and Step-parents, George Patton, George W. Bush, and Rudy Gulliani (I hope I spelled his name right)! Plus the people I served with in Afghanistan - especially my Australian (who always look very well in all circumstances!), Brit, and Canadian friends. They are heroes in every sense of the word.
