Hard work often pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now...

About Me

I have been married for 11 years and have 2 little boys, ages 8 and 4. My husband is in the Air Force andwe've moved around quite a bit. Some states I've lived in so far: West Virginia, Mississippi, Maryland,Lousiana, Nebraska and Ohio (and thats just in a 9 year time period!)
I don't have a "real job". I'm a full time wife/mommy/domestic goddess. Someday I'd like to go back toschool for something computer related, as computers are my hobby. I'm 32 years old and I still don't knowwhat I want to be when I grow up.
I am a natural redhead and a pisces, make of that what you will. I am also a geek and a gamer. I'mconstantly fascinated by technology.
I get goosebumps and the hairs on my arms stand up when I hear music I love and I cry really easily, even when I'mhappy. And I don't care who notices.
I'm phone shy and I hate calling people. Can rarely bring myself to call anyone due to the fear that I willbe interrupting them while they are doing something otherwise more important.
I used to write poetry a lot even though I hated just about everything I wrote and would rarely let anyoneelse read it. I also took piano lessons for 12 years growing up, but my parents have custody of mypiano.
Basically that is me....in a nutshell =)
Pisces (Feb 23 - Mar 22) You are a pioneer type and think most people are dickheads. You are quick to reprimand, impatient and full of advice. You do nothing but piss-off everyone you come in contact with. You are a prick.

My Interests

I love video games - they make me crazy. Right now I am immersed in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Tomb Raider Legend, and Viva Pinata on the 360. I'm really into MMORPG's and have played Guild Wars, Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach, World of Warcraft, City of Heroes/Villains, Star Wars Galaxies, and Everquest I/II. I also enjoy all of the arcade games on my Xbox 360 =) Purchased a Playstation 3 (still waiting on some good games to come out...) and a Nintendo wii (which is great when we have company over :)

I'm obsessed with all things bellydance. When I am not watching bellydance videos I'm looking for bellydance music, reading forums about dancing, sewing some costume "creations" or other such things.

I like doing crafty stuff. Sewing, knitting, crochet, needlepoint, etc. Making stuff is good. I also like building and upgrading computers, that's crafty right? :)

I like watching movies, drinking coffee or tea for hours over conversation at an all-night diner, staying up until abnormally late hours and then sleeping in, dancing, golf, walking instead of running, Renassiance Faires, the ocean, a good glass of pinot grigio or pinot noir, warm weather, and chocolate.

Things I wish I would start doing: yoga on a daily basis, reading more books, calling my long-distance friends to catch up more than once in a blue moon, get back into writing poetry and playing the piano.

I'd like to meet:

I love meeting other people interested in bellydance or middle eastern music/drums. And anyone who has some similar interests and who is looking for someone to talk to or be silly with.

If you're someone I went to school with or hung out with years ago send me a message! I'm really enjoying getting in touch with people I've not seen in ages.

Famous people:
Rachel Brice and The Indigo, Miles Copeland and the Bellydance Superstars (all of them!), Bill Cowher and the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers (yes, all of them), David Bowie, Eddie Izzard, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, The Rock.

PS: This layout was created by ME and nobody else =)

Music:

Lately I have a taste for music that is not in English ;) If not listening to bellydance music, then generally "hard rock" I'd say. And what they used to call "Alternative". However, my music tastes have ranged anywhere from Neil Diamond to Anthrax so...well.....you get the idea.
