My name is Breanna,I am a suppper de duppper big fan of the used,they have made my lifee soo wonderful:].When im super sad i just listen to them,it atomaticaly cheers me up! They are the best band in the whole intire world and nobody can tell me otherwise.I've seen the used in concert once,it was the most amazingg day of my life.I dont have any videos from the concertt BUT i will be seeing them at warped tour june 30,2007 and ill make sure i get pictures and stufff anyways..this site is just soo all of us fans can talk about them..and things like that.just for fun:]. ill have more stuff up as soon as i get this site runnning!:]
The members of the Used had to overcome poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse, not to mention the straight-laced attitudes of their hometown of Orem, UT, to bring their screamo-tinged brand of post-hardcore to life. But they persevered and earned a contract with Reprise Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in June 2002. Having only played a handful of shows around Orem prior to their record's release, the band -- vocalist Bert McCracken, guitarist Quinn Allman, bassist Jeph Howard, and drummer Branden Steineckert -- began relentless nationwide touring that quickly saw their fan base multiply. Club dates soon turned into successful stints on larger-scale festival/package tours including the Warped Tour, Ozzfest, and Projekt Revolution alongside Linkin Park and Snoop Dogg. In the summer of 2003, the Used issued the introspective CD/DVD Maybe Memories, which contained unreleased songs, live material, behind-the-scenes footage, and more. Their official sophomore offering showed up in September 2004 as In Love and Death, and the guys hopped on the first incarnation of the Taste of Chaos tour early the next year. Around that time, they also recorded a version of the Queen classic "Under Pressure" with My Chemical Romance to benefit victims of the devastating tsunami of December 2004. Boasting a fuller sound, In Love and Death peaked at number six on Billboard's Top 200 and the Used continued touring behind it worldwide. Outside of the band, McCracken has also lent his vocals to the punk rock drum troupe Street Drum Corps. As the Used readied their third album, Steineckert parted ways with the group over creative differences in early fall 2006; he went on to join Rancid. Robert 'Bert' McCracken was born February 25, 1982, is the lead singer of the punk rock/emo band, The Used.Bert was born in Orem, Utah, USA and raised in a Mormon family during his youth. He was inspired by Michael Jackson to become a singer at a young age. He also attended High School with bandmember Quinn Allman, before dropping out. Before joining The Used, he played the trumpet in a local band in his hometown. Wanting to seek new musical options, he auditioned for a band in his hometown who needed a singer.After his audition, Quinn Allman, Jeph Howard and Branden Steineckert were so blown away, that they asked him to join. He was so involved, he hitchhiked to band practice. Soon, Bert moved out of his house and lived with Quinn and his parents for awhile, before their band became a huge success.

Quinn Allman born January 19,1982 grew up in Orem,Utah, in an anti-Mormon family. At a young age, Quinn started playing in bands. His first band was a band called "Hey Santos!". At age 15, he became a member of The Used, influenced by bands such as Face to Face, Goldfinger, Thursday, Kenna, Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, and New Transit Direction. He is also a vegetarian and supports PETA. He has made a video on the PETA website promoting vegetarian diet and is against eating meat because of the cruel conditions of the animals.Quinn passed the time with petty theft and panhandling. He has been described by bandmates as "the nutty kid who eats his own boogers and doesn't wash his hands ever". All bandmates share the thought that he is a very comical individual. Singer Bert McCracken of The Used describes him as a "truly spiritual and warm" individual.In late 2003, Quinn was arrested outside of his own tour bus for opposing an officer who was forcing fans off of the property. This incident is an example of how much Quinn loves his fans. Alongside The Used, Quinn manages a side project, a band he discovered entitled "Evaline" , which played on the 2006 Warped Tour. Evaline is also one of the bands on the 2007 Taste Of Chaos Tour, playing alongside The Used, Saosin, 30 Seconds To Mars, Chiodos and Aiden.Has two brothers, Ian Allman and Riley Allman and a sister, Rondee Allman.

Jeph Howard (born Jepharee Michael Howard) was born on January 4, 1979 and plays bass guitar for band The Used. A common nickname of his is Jepha. His other co-members of the band include vocalist Bert McCracken, guitarist Quinn Allman, and drummer Dan Whitesides. Howard began playing bass when his childhood friend Korby Connell played guitar. Jeph figured that if Korby played guitar, he must pick up bass. Prior to Bert joining The Used, Jeph was the singer, but he prefers to play bass. Howard says he listens to all kinds of music - he likes everything from "noise and super screamy metal to hip hop." He believes that this is partly because his father would play records for him growing up. Howard also says he enjoys Japan/Japanese culture and horror films. He says he drinks six to eight cups of green tea daily as that is his favorite kind of tea. Jeph is said to believe in UFO's. Howard is a vegetarian and appreciates PETA and is featured on their "Save #99" DVD. He is known to drink alcohol in moderation, and thus he travels on The Used's "Party Bus" periodically.has a tattoo of an angel on the right side of his neck and a devil tattooed on the left side of his neck with the word luck tattooed between them on the back of his neck. He says he believes it's the only way to get through both of them. He has his best friends face tattooed on the back of his left leg, and his friend has Jeph's face on the back of his right. He also has a 'cock sleeve'. Howard also has fifteen piercings, including a penis piercing - a Prince Albert, snakebite lip piercings and a tongue piercing. Also he has a tattoo on his left middle finger of a lightening bolt which would be his first tattoo he got before he was of age to get a tattoo.

Branden was born in Pocatello, Idaho, USA and was raised in a Mormon family which moved more than twenty times during his youth. He has claimed to have never tried tobacco, alcohol, or any other recreational drug, all of which are barred by Mormon beliefs. When Branden was 11 years old, his father, Neil Steineckert, committed suicide, after which he picked up skateboarding as a way to release himself from his problems.At the age of 16, Branden decided to learn how to play the drums because his late father had played drums at around his age. He helped found The Used, who would go on to achieve success, earning two gold albums.On September 12, 2006, drummer Steineckert was announced as no longer part of The Used, due to a wish from the band to "move forward without Branden as our drummer". The new drummer has been chosen, Dan Whitesides. Some theories for Branden's departure from the band include his recent work producing other bands, and his engagement to The Used merch girl, Spike. Due to the numerous rumors surrounding his departure, he has since clarified on his MySpace blog that he was fired from The Used over the phone and has not been contacted by the remaining members of the band since then. The band's third album is due to come out May 22, 2007. Before that, they will be releasing a CD/DVD titled "Berth" on February 6, 2007. Though the live concert portion of the DVD is from when Branden was still in the band, he wrote on his MySpace that "I can't say that I will support it 100% because I have no part in the final product, what it consists of, how I will be portrayed, how it will come across, and if it will be any good. In other words, if it sucks, I had nothing to do with it except playing drums at the show." He also clarified that he neither wrote nor played any of the music that will be featured on The Used's new cd.On November 3, 2006, it was announced that Branden would play drums for Rancid until the end of their tour. Replacing drummer of 15 years, Brett Reed. On the tour, Rancid has been saying he will be their new drummer. It is now noted on The Useds official fan site, that Branden is now the official drummer of Rancid

Dan Whitesides is the official new drummer for the American Rock band The Used. He is replacing Branden Steineckert, who departed earlier in 2006 and is now playing with Rancid. Whitesides began playing drums at the age of 14. He has quoted himself, "I play a little guitar, but that's just because my whole family plays guitar, and I picked it up from being around them. [I didn't play it] in any bands or anything like that though. Mainly just drums." It is said that he comes from a musical family
