I am and will always be nothing but a student. It is when I discover my ignorance and fragility that I truly learn. By the grace of God, I have been blessed with the opportunity to express myself as a poet, songwriter, and nasheed artist. I performed many years with nasheed sensation Noor (noorification.com) and helped with the production of two albums. Throughout the years I was honored to share the stage with many remarkable artists who have also become my teachers. Truly, God’s gifts are countless. As a spoken word poet, I have found a home at poetry cafés and regularly perform at open mics and poetry slams. I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to several states and share my poetry with audiences at various events and universities including: Columbia, Cornell, New York University, UCLA, Stanford, and others. I am currently writing songs for several artists and working on a project that is merging the worlds of spoken word and nasheed to create, God willing, a unique style.
