She was born and raised with singing and thanks to her voice we have experienced many brilliant and unforgettable moments. She started her career with a band called Haizea. Later, she worked with Pascal Gaigne and Txomin Artola until she decided to go solo, having already released twelve wonderful albums up to that time. Besides, she has given hundreds of concerts full of sensibility and color, recreating and popularizing eternal songs, always offering the audience her soul's most open, naked and fertile part. Haatik is the title of her fourth solo record; on one side, she revises and regains some of her former songs and, on the other side, from heart to heart, she generously gives us seven new songs. On the new album Amaia Zubiria presents thirteen songs chosen from her own taste, style and essence. Haatik wants to be a window through which you can see her evolution over the years, as well as her varied and eclectic sources of inspiration. This way, we find Haizea and Txomin Artola's times ("Elorri xuriaren azpian"), Pascal Gaigne's era ("Egun argüi hartan", "Agurtzen zaitugu ama", "Alferretan haiz sortzen", "Hilargia jaio da", "Maite zaitut maite"), examples of more recent times ("Mami xuri"), and some songs she had never recorded before ("Mendian zuin den eder", "Heldu zaigu azaro", "Ondoan zauzkat", "Ezin zen eta ez ginen", "Ametsa non zaude", "Paradisu bat").
