Outta Your Backpack Media is a collective seeks to create community ownership of media, recognizing the inherent creative energy of youth, and challenges corporate dominated media. We create fully equipped decentralized media centers in each backpack. The collective acts as network of mentors to attain resources by FUNDRAISING and getting DONATIONS, distribution of the backpacks through the creation of a network of youth and communities, and disseminates skills by organizing trainings and providing individual mentorship. Our Workshop are free and our Backpack Kits are free and much of our work is volunteer."We are an Indigenous established volunteer run collective dedicated to reclaiming and redefining knowledge and information.
