Dixie Fried is the first Traditional car show devoted to driven pre-64 cars in the south. It all started when a few friends drove their cars to the drive-in one night. They talked about the current state of affairs in Atlanta and how cool it would be to have a show that catered to their taste in cars. So Josh Mills, Chris Terenzi and Mark Griffiths (The Atlanta Road Kings circa 1999) had a car show at the drive-in in 1999. By 2000 that impromptu show had turned into Dixie Fried. Top that off with our often imitated hand made awards and one-two punch of bands and b movies of Drive-Invasion and a winner was born.
