Movin On {From Yesterday} is a writing collaberation with Emily Gomez and Paul Antony. Emily was introduced to Paul Antony at a video shoot for the So Kalled Poets. After several conversations, Paul and Emily found they shared alot of the same views in music and style. This is the first collaberation, and hopefully, not the last.................
So Kalled Poets first met with Paul Antony and Lee Lawrence in summer 2003. SKP was looking for producers that would not only have creativity, but also would give them the music and experience to make them shine. In the summer of 2004, SKP and Groovitism productions, completed the first-full lenght LP for SKP. 'Free Your Soul' is a collaberation with Paul Antony singing background vocals and Lee Lawrence doing turntables..............Glen Pfaff, former drummer for Christafari, collaborated with Paul Antony for a blend of Reggae with a modern twist. Glen had just begun to form his own group where he would be the frontman. 'Distraxions' was the first of two songs.

The video is a clip of Paul Antony performing 'Conquering Lion' live at the Coffee Depot at the Riverside Plaza. This was a bootleg video by a digital camera. That's why it's fuzzy, people talking in the background, blenders buzzing and the voices are out of sync. Hope you enjoy this raw Paul Antony performance of the Transic Vibe song.

Sounds Like: Groovitism is a production company that doesn't follow trends, although, I do like certain popular sounds. I don't sample and I'm horrible at trying to recreate the"popular sound";I do as I do, with all original music. Every song created is a tailor made song that develops through the relationship of the producer and artist. I want to work with artists who are willing to push the envelope of possibilty by letting the music develop into what will make the artist and the producer shine. Ingenuity, Creativity and Originality. Nothing more, nothing less.
