I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a Christian, a wife and mother of six. I've been a stay at home Mom for most of the past 20 years. My oldest is now in the army and the next two are both high school age. My littlest one is in preschool and also receives autism therapy every day. My two youngest girls keep me busy, growing so fast I can hardly keep up with them. Life is hectic and hard sometimes, I am trying to keep going and do the best I can. ____I love music and listen to lots of different stuff. Mainly country, CCM and anything by Josh Groban. What a gift God's given him! I also write, and I recorded a CD of my own songs a few years ago. That was a blast.____ My husband and I both help with kids at our church. I help with Sunday School for the 2 year olds, and also Vacation Bible School in the summer. Preschool age...that's my group. I love this age. :-) I also attend Catholic Mass as well as our family church. I have been a Catholic for a year now. I am very thankful!!! Receiving Christ in the Eucharist is very precious to me.___I believe the most important thing for you if you are a Christian, is to love Jesus as a bride loves her bridegroom. To have a fire in your heart anticipating His return. An absolutely life changing message for me was one titled "The Queen In Gold" by David Wilkerson. Also his message called "Walking In The Spirit." And I feel EVERY Christian should read Tommy Tenney's book, "Finding Favor With The King." All of these messages point to wanting Jesus Himself more than wanting to be used by Him. Holding His Presence more precious than your ministry. Seek Him, not the splendor of His Kingdom. "The palace without the King is just a big empty house." ______________________________________________________This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? using original artwork by Marah Johnson. My Interests

Writing songs, poetry and fiction. Being with my family. Learning about autism; my youngest son is on the autism spectrum. Watching Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray. (now if I could just cook like they do!) Lavender scented anything. Babies!! Reading. Studying Catholic theology. Horseback riding if I had the chance. Movies. Going shopping with my daughters. Coffee and chocolate. Summer VBS camp with preschoolers:-) Going to the drive-in during the summertime. All kinds of furry critters, especially hedgehogs and West Highland White Terriers. MySpace-ing and Christian forum-ing. :-)Listening to music. Driving with the radio/cd blasting.
