As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to let us down probably will. You'll have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when someone broke yours. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast and you'll eventually lose someone close to you. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every 60 seconds you spend angry or upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Check out Joe Monto's artist page!! The song tribute to Chris has been uploaded!! Here is the link:

Please read about Corporal Chris Mason on my page! A true American Hero who fought and died for OUR freedom!
MUSIC IS MY PASSION!! I love to sing, play a little drums and act like I know it all! (When it comes to music anyway!) And truth be told....there aren't many songs that I don't know! I have an almost photographic memory for song lyrics, tunes and melodies. Not long ago, I was listening to music that my parents said they played when I was under 2 years old I had not heard since that time. I remember every word....every note. Kinda cool!
I love writing music with my husband, he is brilliant with words.
I also LOVE computer games! Every time someone finds out I'm a total computer geek they always say the same thing...."You do NOT look like you would be into computers...." Well to those people all I can say is looks are deceiving and stereotyping is for ignorant people! Wow that sounded really mean....but oh well, the truth can hurt! *grins* ahh well I love 'em anyway, God says love your neighbor as yourself! That wasn't a piece of advice....it was a command!
I love to encourage others. I have started a blog on this page using some devotions that I have read and seen as well as some of my own. I think sometimes the best way to help someone is to share personal experiences...whether it was a crisis or happy time. We can share what we learned from something and hopefully help save someone else the pain and heartache of going through it. God did the same for us....just read the Bible.
I'd like to meet:
One of my favorite artist in the world is Josephine Wall. There is more to her work than the eye first beholds!
This flag was flown for Chris in Mobile Alabama....in his honor.
Chris Mason giving a lifetime of God-given advice!
Take a moment and sign my map if you want! I love to see new faces!! *grins* God bless!

if width=160 height=120 alt='myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics' border=0If there is a steady tune....I'm there. I am a rocker at heart, but I am very diverse in what I know and groove to. My hubby is an awesome guitar player. My father is a well known drummer. I am just a lover of it all. My dad was the KING of double bass....he toured with the band People in the '70s as well as several others I won't get in to for personal reasons. I can't even come close to playing like he did....but I'm working on it! I love to play drums but my true talent and passion lies more in singing. We hope to one day use the talents God has given us to play music for HIS glory and to share a life saving message. We are currently working on songs, we have several close to being finished and I may add a demo before long....and NO I won't be playing drums on it....that's "Shanimals" department! He is the best drummer I have ever heard in my life!
My favorite instrument as far as sound goes is a violin. I see pictures of angels with harps and I just want to grab a big eraser and draw a violin there instead! My favorite instrument to play is...of course...drums! Hey I can see God rockin' out in heaven! He created ALL music didn't He?
Some bands I really like are: Crossfade | Breaking Benjamin | Day of Fire | Evanescence | Disturbed (I love their sound but don't like some of what they stand for) | Lifehouse | Jewel (love her songwriting)| Sevendust | My Chemical Romance | Chris Daughtry | Linkin Park | Metallica (again, LOVE the sound but not what they stand for) | Nickelback | Staind | Chevelle | Gretchen | Seventh Day Slumber | Casting Crowns | Papa Roach | Creed | Kutless | Skillet (Love their Drummer, Lori Peters!!)
Movies:
I LOVE scary movies, thrillers and anything that's a mystery.
The Sixth Sense was one of my favs! It has all of the above in it! Some Adventure/Action movies I love are: Pirates of the Caribbean 1 & 2| Kingdom of Heaven | Spider Man Trilogy | LoTR Trilogy | Star Wars (all of them!) | X-Men (all of them) | Count of Monte Cristo | Usual Suspects | Braveheart | Apocalypto | Gladiator | Passion of Christ (this one is so hard for me to watch)
When I was a kid I was terrified of everything. One night, I forced myself to stay up late and watch Aliens by myself with no one home. I was so proud of myself for making it through that movie and I started a fad I would never outgrow! Here are some titles I that are good for thrills or just an interesting story line: Signs | The Ring | Interview with the Vampire | The Others | The Bone Collector | Seven | Usual Suspects
Television:
I am ONE with my Video iPod! It goes where I go, therefore I get to watch a lot of TV shows when I feel like it! Here are some GOOD ones that I love!
Lost (who doesn't love this show!) | Heroes (always did love a good superhero story) | Grey's Anatomy (I'm a nurse) | CSI: all of them (I love forensics and psychology!) | 24 (wow this show is incredible! I love Keifer Sutherland!) | House (another awesome medical drama!) | NCIS (Navy detectives rock!) | Numb3rs (I am not a big fan of math, but this show is so cool! It says a lot when even I can understand it!)
Books:
I am an avid reader! My awesome father in law introduced me to George MacDonald and Jeffery Farnol to name a few. If you want to read some deeply spiritual yet highly adventurous books, try some of George MacDonald. If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings then try them. Tolkien (which wrote LotR) was actually influenced by George MacDonald. Some of MacDonald's books are not fantasy, but they are equally engrossing just the same. Jeffery Farnol wrote some truly amazing adventures! C.S Lewis is another writer that I throughly enjoy reading.
I also have an alternate side that loves a good who-done-it mystery. I recently read the old original Sherlock Holmes series. I love classic stories as well. I am currently reading The Iliad of Homer.
I am a girly girl sometimes and when I am I read my fair share of romance....which my hubby picks on me about! ....pfffft men! :) Last but CERTAINLY not least let me recommend a book that many people do not realize is one of the greatest adventure books ever written. This book has it all.....it is FULL of romance, murder, deception, heartache, joy, fear, hate, sex, love, betrayal, war, jealousy and sacrifice. How many books can you say you have read that have all of the above in one book? How many books have you read that tell you of one man losing his life so another can live? What about a parent allowing their only child to die so that another person could live....but this person was undeserving of such a sacrifice? Now what if I told you that the person responsible for placing this parent's child on death's row is the one person that he died for? Guess what? That person is you and that book is the Bible! I am a parent and I can honestly say that if I had to put myself in God's place and sacrifice MY son for a person that cheated, lied, cursed my name and forgot about me....I doubt very seriously the outcome of the story would be the same. God DID sacrifice his Son...and he did it so you and I can one day join our Father God in heaven again. Since we are sinful, we cannot be around God because God is the total opposite of that. He is Holy and pure. Imagine standing on the edge of a mountain cliff looking down into a vast drop of nothingness. Across this gaping hole you can see another mountain with lush trees and a city made of pure diamonds and precious gemstones, the steets are paved in gold....but it is located on the other side and this gaping hole of nothingness separates you from it. When Jesus died for us, he became a bridge that allows us to cross from our mountain over to His Paradise on the other side. We couldn't get there, but he paved a way for us. In the first chapter your will drop open at some of what it says, and that is just in the first chapter!! It gets much better! If you get confused at all the thee and art thous that are in the popular King James Version of the Bible then let me recommend The Student Bible or another version of the Bible called The Message. They are both written in modern every day slang that we speak in. Just take a moment to glance over it again. It just may change your life!
Heroes:
My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! "Let GO and Let GOD!" That statement is easy to say but one of the hardest things I have ever learned to do. Let go of yourself (your own desires and wants) and give Him your life wholeheartedly and trust Him with it ....then your desires and His will be the same.
My wonderful husband and best friend! He was my high school sweetie and still is. I prayed my whole life for him and God gave him to me taylor made! Thank you God for him!
My amazing mother! She was tested and had to make a choice....and was blessed when she passed!
My father and mother-in-law who raised amazing children and are the leading example of what a married couple should be.
My best friend and brother in Christ, Joe Monto! I thank God the day he brought him into our lives! He has a voice of an angel and the spirit to go with it! He is one of the best people I have ever met, and I thank God to have him in my life!
Corporal Chris Mason and all of our men and women in our Mighty US military. I, as well as many others, grieve when a soldier goes down in the line of duty. Chris Mason lost his life in Iraq on November 28th of 2006. He died giving Freedom to people who have never known what that word truly means. All soldiers take the risk every day they draw breath in enemy territory....that the same breath that gives them life could be taken from them. They do this so that you and I can enjoy the wealth and prosperity that IS America. Chris died knowing that he would not die alone, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was waiting for him to say "Welcome home son, You have made me proud." He has made us all proud. I am PROUD to be an American thanks to heroes like Chris who fight even to this day for us all. I know Chris' job isn't over, he now fights in the mighty Army of God against the enemy of darkness. The devil may win a few battles, but he will NEVER win the war!
