About Me

This is Katherine's work page - she does not run it - if you would like to email her go to her personal my space page - she is the first friend here. Thanks!!
Katherine ran away from her small town home in Louisiana to pursue a career in television and film when she was 16. With only $150, Katherine first slept in her car in the parking lot of a Hollywood motel. Now, a decade later, Katherine has directed some of television's hottest shows and will begin shooting her second feature film, Waking Madison this spring.
Katherine has an extensive list of television credits include, three seasons of the Emmy-Award winning, The Osbournes, the highly acclaimed show Newlyweds, starring Jessica Simpson, There and Back, Meet the Barkers and MTV's groundbreaking The Real World. Katherine also directed and produced The Simple Life with Paris Hilton, Town Haul for TLC and He's A Lady for TBS.
Katherine is currently focusing on her film work, which has garnered numerous awards including The Emerging Filmmaker Award at the Italian Film Festival. Her films have played at over 100 festivals around the world and she gained critical praise for her short films, Finding Kate and Dear Emily. Dear Emily can be seen on the compilation DVD entitled Watching You.
Katherine's first feature film, Loving Annabelle, made its premier at the prestigious Cinequest Film Festival and won both the Audience Award and Best Actress Award at Outfest. The film also picked up six audience awards and four Jury Awards over the course of the 6 month festival run. Loving Annabelle stars Erin Kelly, Diane Gaidry and Academy Award nominee/Golden Globe recipient, Kevin McCarthy. The film was released on DVD this past December and is currently the number one selling gay film on Amazon.com.
Katherine was the recipient of the LACE Award for Arts and Entertainment. The award honors women who have made a difference in the entertainment community. Katherine was also recently on the Samsung Fresh Films Jury which awards and supports young filmmakers in the country. She recently wrapped shooting on her latest film, Waking Madison, starring Elisabeth Shue and Sarah Roemer. The movie will be released in the summer of 2008 and is the story she wrote and directed about a woman suffering from multiple personality disorder.
Katherine is currently moving to New Orleans where she will be directing three films there over the course of seven years. The first movie The Boys Club is about a female jockey. The second Curse on 1140 Royal Street is a true story about one of the most haunted houses in America. And the third movie is a comedy. Yes, Katherine can do comedy.
