About Me

Linda "Chocolate" Berthier can be easily described as vibrant and versatile! A motivated recording artiste, song writer and upcoming actress, former dance instructor, born into a musical family of 6 in the community of Babonneau, in St. Lucia. Chocolate discovered her love and talent for singing at church, and at the tender age of 5 wrote her first original.She has now become not only a household name via gospel radio and hosting of the Marlin awards (www.marlinawards.com), Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat Radio Host (Hollywood, Fl.) and the world premiere St. Lucia Jazz Festival main stages, but also has her hands down as one of the top local gospel artistes and promoters in St. Lucia. She presently co-hosts a regional gospel music radio show with Jamaican radio host, Arnold Kelly (www.caribbeanhour.com ). Her acclaimed single "Thank you”, produced in 1999 (www.cdbaby.com/cd/militantforchrist.com), has boosted her faith and confidence in pursuing her call as a Singing Evangelist. She is hitting the regional gospel music charts on her recent musical project “Militant for Christ”.
