Mirthless emerged in the beginning of 2003 after the gathering of two sinister souls Mirthless (Whisper of death and Funebre chants) and Satyricon (Ancient Drums), inspired to create despair and darkness, a few months later another fallen soul appeared Soulless (Mournful sound of anguish and pain) as session musician so We composed two sad poems and recorded a rehearsal tape during November and December 2004 called Rehearsal I (This release sounds rough and bleak in the old vein of Doom Metal Rulez!!!) At the end of 2004, Mirthless entered at El Sotano Studios to record the masterpiece called Remembrances... It contains two track (Lasting almost 26 minutes of torture and despair music with gloomy intros!!!) Remembrances is an authentic ode about human emotions such as: Depression, melancholy, pain, anguish, sorrow, hate, grief, suicide and madness.... The lyrics and music are reflections and channel of their thoughts, philosophies, raw emotions and experiences. The music captures the essence of the world Mirthless. Mirthless plays  emotional doom metal... Painfully, slow and extreme music....
