Throughout life you'll learn about special people who will over come obstacles, beat the odds, and make important changes in the world. They’re all everyday people, but they possess a spark that sets them above the rest. Although you may not find that spark in everyone who’ll step to the stage, you'll definitely find it in singer, songwriter, actress, and model, Keyonna Hall. Keyonna was raised in the dangerous and unforgiving streets of Baltimore, MD where drugs, promiscuity, and violence are all too common. Luckily she found sanctitude in the church and got her start leading the mass choir at the age of six. By the age of ten Keyonna had made a name for her self in the tri-state area singing in competitions, showcases, assemblies, and graduations. She truly amazed audiences as she soulfully sung songs by great legends such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Anita Baker.As she matured in age Keyonna started performing and competing in many events throughout the Baltimore and DC tri state area. She also lent her talent to many of Baltimore prominent individuals, such as Popular Radio personalities Rod Lee, and “DJ Reggie Reg”, Local Producers such as Debonair Samir, and “KIDD” from Off the Edge Entertainment. Not to mention various Rappers, Vocalist, and other Production Companies. You may have seen her face on HBO's "The Wire", advertisements, or on stage doing local plays.“One thing that I’ve learned is that this business is so fast, but things come so slow. One good thing I can honestly say about myself is that I am persistent. I'm the best in everything I do, and I never let people tell me what I'm capable of doing. I don't think I've ever accepted the word NO.”Today, she continues to pursue her music career in high hopes that she can one day earn a recording deal and have her music heard and loved all over the world. The road for this talented female songstress is that of a bright one. Armed with several self written singles, and an undying love for music, she has managed to captivate her home town and earn the respect of not only her peers but of that of other artist in the industry. Whether you refer to her as “The Voice”, “The future of R&B”, “The next BIG Thing”, or just plain old “Key”…….One thing is certain there’s definitely a spot in the industry for Keyonna Hall.
