SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Take off is a young slovenian band, which comes from Maribor.That is on the North-Eastern Slovenia
Take Off plays together three years. Since guys did not know their singer Mihaela, they played alone, so the members were Borna, Gogi and Miso.
At the start, they did not know which way to choose in the musical way, because
they already played their whole live in different bands in different styles of music.
So they decided that they will try to experiment for a bit and try to find a new wave, mixed from experiences from their past and try to give a new clothes to the future sound.Their friends from Zagreb once wrote, that this band produce progressive but at the same time nice melodies, sometimes in the compositions you can feel the

GORAZD ZIVKO – GOGI / DRUMMS
Gogi started to play drumms in his late twenties and he is self-taught.
He is the real heart of the energy in the band. He also played with a few bands in Maribor and he went through different styles :Agonija - hardcore punk

Fish is not a pigeon - alter rockAfter a few years of playing, when he decided to take a break, he met Mi--o,
the bass player and Borna –gituarist, and together they decided to found a band Take off. He says, that this music is the music wich he like the most since his playing .
His wishes in the band are to play as much
as is possible.
BRANE LOBNIK - BRUNO / BASS
Brane started to play bas in 1998 as a member of a group "Caddies". They recorded some demos and been on some compilations. They also filmed one music video. In 2002 the new band was formed called 10 balls with Brane on the Bass. The band also recorded some demo, and music video. In oktober 2007 Brane left the band and in start of 2008 he joined the band TAKE OFF.
MIHAELA EMERSIC / VOKALS
Mihaela started to sing in her childhood.
She recorded her first songs when she was 17 years old. Since then she was working with many slovenian artists musicians in studios all over Slovenia.
1997 she recorded her dance single Nisem vec tvoja mala which was published on compilation Slo dance scena nr. 5.
Later the same year 1997 she joined the blues band Eldo as a singer.
At the same time she was a member of a percussion band Jambashi again as a singer. After a long eksperimenting she put herself into a computer music loops and recordings of her vocal on her own, involving with the sound, which she still does as well as singing with Take Off.
BORNA SMID / GUITAR
Borna started to play guitar 1993 as a member of a group
"V okovih".
In the year 1995 they published their cd Hard sunshine core. Group played in all most important festivals in Slovenia and Croatia, 2x they recived marsev gojzer, prize for the best group, by the selection of a listeners on radio m.a.r.s.
1998 he changed group and he played with group "Malo bo" untill
2005, when he met Gogi and Miso and when they started to talk about Take off band.
