Starting from a vision of two young people wanting to make feel good music that they grew up on. Stevie "Tonie Soprano" Hunt and Nina "Penny" Hunt, used to spend the night at a friend's studio and dream of owning their own studio one day. The opportunity finally came while they were living in a neighborhood in ATL called Pittsburgh. The studio was in such an inconspicuous spot in the hood, as to why the name IN THA CUTT was chosen. TONIE or T, a major songwriter and producer is bringing his unique lyrical and production talents to the music scene. TONIE has a wide variety of music from HIP-HOP & R&B to GOSPEL, JAZZ, and even ALTERNATIVE MUSIC.
TONIE has had the success of being in a major singing group, II CLOSE.He has been singing since the age of 5. Signed to major labels from the age of 12 and up, and befriended by major players in the industry like NEW EDITION, and RUN DMC. He has been overseas touring and singing for the troops of America. He has had more than his share of knowing what the music industry has to offer. Even, working for BETTY WRIGHT, for a while in Miami. Taking this knowledge into the vision of his studio, to help other artists become aware of the do's and dont's of the industry.
