my favorite book as a child was Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, and it still is one of my favorites.
Tom Robbins is my hero when it comes to authors. Just... wow. Read everything he has ever written, especially Even Cowgirls Get The Blues, and I also loved Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates. It's so awesome. :)
Despite the somewhat cheesy and formulaic writing, Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code (both by Dan Brown) are a really fun read. Robert Langdon is one kick-ass art historian!
I am currently reading: Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory MaGuire, and The Feminine Mystique by Betty Freidan
I also like Margaret Atwood, Diane Schomperlen, Shannon Stewart, Fred Mustard Stewart, Carl Haissen (sp?), Ann-Marie Macdonald, John Gould, Salinger, Hemingway, Good Ol' Billy The Bard, Tennesee Williams, Maya Angelou, Philip Pulman and lots of other authors I'm sure but of course I can't remember them.
And a bunch of other random books to which I cannot remember the authors. But basically: I love to read. :)
