Music, I LOVE seeing LIVE music, dancing and having fun times. Gardening, skiing, reading good books, healthy living, cooking, yoga, pilates, and raising my children to be strong, healthy, smart and productive citizens of the USA.
I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet His Holiness The Dalai Lama, (I saw him once and I got chills beyond belief) Al Gore, Michael Moore, (these two men are courageous, I'd love to meet them both) Prince, Madonna, (talent, just o to be in their presence) Brad Pitt (I've got questions, and he's so freggin sexy.....SIZZLLLE), George Clooney,(he makes me laugh, also very sexy) Chris Angel(amazing), and Robin Williams(just to laugh, I would love to hang out with this guy one day). I would have LOVED to have met Mother Teresa and Princess Diana. Too bad, so sad.

Michael Franti and Spearhead, Sublime, Sia, Mazzy Star, Lamb, Massive Attack, String Cheese Incident, Jamiroquai, Ani DiFranco, Black Eyed Peas, Avril Levine, Prince, Madonna, Chaka Khan, Gap Band, Sting, Annie Lenox, Kool & the Gang, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Sade, Arrested Development, A Tribe Called Quest, Billy Joel, Van Halen, Led Zepplin, Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan, Cold Play, Gwen Stefani, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, Rolling Stones, The Who, Neil Diamond. And the list goes on......... I basically love all music except country music. Not a big fan at all. I Love soul, funk, hip-hop, R&B, classic rock, raggee. I love it all mostly. Music is the love of mah life!
Movies:
Pulp Fiction is my all time favorite. Drama mixed with humor. Something about Mary. Click, 40 year Old Virgin. (laughed my @ss off) Another great classic and favorite of mine is My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Spirited Away, Alice in Wonderland. Past couple years I loved, An Inconvenient Truth, Supersize Me, Stealing Iraq and of course I know I'm Not Alone. I enjoy anything that'll make me laugh or cry. Something that moves me. I don't really enjoy war movies or movies about the slavery era, they make me angry and embarassed to be an American. But they are educational and we should know about our countries history. Reality Sucks. A movie that really moved me is Passion Of The Crist. (I cried my eyes out, watched it on Palm Sunday of all days to boot)
Television:
Don't watch much, but when I do it's mostly HBO Entourage, I LOVED Carnivale, and Lucky Louie, but HBO those dumb asses cancelled it. The show Weeds on Showtime, great show.
Books:
The Glass Castle: A Memoir, Running With Scissors, The Kite Runner, Naked, The Tenth Cirlce, The Time Travelers Wife. The Secret Life of Bee's, Swan Song. Parenting with Love and Logic.I love reading, I started reading when I was very young. In my young adult life I loved smut books, Cheesy Harlequin Romances, Jackie Collins, Danielle Steele. Then I fell in love with Steven King, Dean Koontz and the best Robert McCammon. Now I love memoirs, knowing that people can come from far worse then what I've come through and go on to be wonderful, stable, productive, and smart, loving people. I enjoy deeply moving, powerful stories from which I learn from.
Heroes:
My sisters, (they've both been through so much and still manage to smile everyday) Anyone who has gained strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which they've really stop and looked fear in the face. And in that moment they've learned that they are able to say to themselves "I lived through this horror, I can take the next thing that comes along"BELIEVE THAT YOU MUST DO THE THING YOU THINK YOU CANNOT DO!
