About Me

The making of Between U&I
The making of Through the Torn Curtain
Threefold is an acoustic rock duo based out of Seattle, Washington. Ben Ekstedt (vocals, percussion) and Matt Nystrom (acoustic guitar, BGV) began writing and performing together in December of 2001. Since 2004, Threefold have released four recordings and performed in more than 20 states across the nation.
In July of 2006, Threefold traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to record their third full-length album, Between U&I. To produce the project, Threefold once again turned to Grammy Award® winning producer/engineer Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay). Guest appearances on the record include Matt Slocum (Sixpence None the Richer), Andrew Osenga (Caedmons Call, The Normals), and Jeremy Lutito (Jars of Clay).
The overall sound and feel of Between U&I has been described as a laid back, acoustic combination of Jack Johnson, Maroon 5, The Beatles and Starbucks.Support Blood:Water Mission
