..I was born into a family of musicians in Bulgaria. I always dreamed of being on stage just like my father, who was a vocalist and a drummer in a popular but modest Turkish band.
We immigrated from Bulgaria to Turkey in 1989 and settled in Izmir. After I graduated from high school, I began to study violin at Ege University Turkish Music Conservatory. During this period, I kept singing as well as dancing; I was an assistant teacher at a dance school in which I danced for 5 years.
After Conservatory, I started doing my master’s in musicology at 9 Eylul University. Meanwhile, I met the members of a very speacial music band named “Blue Marble” and joined them as the lead vocal. We performed together for 2 years. After that great experience, I went to USA. As I came back to Turkey I had the great opportunity to be Fatih Erkoc’s back vocal for some time.
Having moved to Istanbul, I started to work in a company that protects musicians’ rights and I still work there.
