Howdy,
I'm Tom, aka Sparkles, a University student, currently at Nottingham University studying Biology, but originally from Selby in the United Kingdom. I live in the fantastic Southwell Hall in Jubilee Campus. I hate writing stuff about myself, but here goes. If I were to put the most important things to me in a list, it'd look something like this:
1) My amazing friends, you know who you are, including (but not inclusive): Steph , Alex , Curly , Clough , Liz, Alice, Snail , Bex , Sally, Martin, Chris, Jack, Liam, Tomo, Kush, Dan, Will, Chris, Liz, Prema, Alice, Resh, Nix, Sophie, Adam, Jenny, Claire, Charlotte, Vicki , Emily , Em, Beccy and probably many other people I can't think of right now (like Luke, Ryan etc).
And of coruse my lovely girlfriend Kat . She's so awesome. She's studying Zoology in Edinburgh. One day she'll own her own Zoo! Here is a picture of her hair and eye:

2) Music, in most of it's forms. I play Lead Guitar in many bands. My current band, Ghost Cassette , has a myspace where you can hear demos etc. My first real band back in Selby was White lodge , with my mates Martin (Guitar and Vox), Chris (Bass), and Jack (Drums). We formed in 2001, but we only started gigging properly in 2004.
I also write and record alot of my own music, mainly using electronic drums. My other, more musical account is here if you'd like to hear more. If you'd like to get a copy of the White Lodge CD, it's available on iTunes (just search for "The Musical EP" or "White Lodge"), or just send me and email and I'll sort it.
I've played clarinet for years (up to Grade 8), and also the piano. I also love seeing live music, mainly indie music. However, my CD collection contains everything from Indie to Rap, Hip Hop, Classic Rock, Metal, Pop, Classical, Country, Death Metal - basically I like it all.
I am in another band, where I also play lead guitar, called Harry's Happy Pumpkins , with friends Alex (Bass) and Curly (Guitar). We're just starting off, but we've got some recordings and stuff. Our first gig was pretty good (for a first gig), so give us a listen!
3) Other stuff: Lost - the best TV show in a LONG time, maybe only bettered by Heroes, which is fantastic! Get watching those shows if you don't already. Spooks, Life On Mars and Futurama are also ace!
Emilie de Ravin - the sexiest girl on Lost, possibly in the world (bar Kat). And she has an awesome smile!
Alcohol - beer and scotch.
More stuff might be added if I can be arsed.
I run a record label: Breaking The Boredom . At the moment, we're only releasing stuff on the Internet and in the local area, however in the near future we could have a distribution network.

In one way or another, I am also involved in my mate Laura 's record label Merdoc Records . Currently signed to Merdoc are The Acute , a fantastic band from Edinburgh, who are soon to release their first single and begin their first UK tour. Check them out at a venue near you, and you may see me roadying or generally just getting pissed!
