Serpentine Promotions is a little DIY booking agency located in Ticino, the italian part of Switzerland. It was born quite some years ago, we don’t even remeber exactly when, with the idea to promote bands in an area where there wasn’t much going on. With the great help of Gianni and the Peter Pan in Bellinzona we’ve been able to introduce people to some great music. We’ve done Punk, Metal, Indie, Hardcore, (Post)Rock gigs in the past and as far as we are concerned we don’t mind doing Electronic or Hip Hop gigs if we like it.
Hardly any money is involved in this project, everything goes to the bands. We do everything from promoting the gig to cooking your food and if we can we’ll give you a place where to sleep.
The only thing that moves us is the passion for music, we believe that there is more than just downloading music.Most of all we'd like to meet bands that share our attitude cause we don’t really want to deal with self proclamed rock stars. Feel free to contact us, we are definitely gonna listen your music and if we like it we may or may not collaborate. We are open to collaborations of any kind (clubs, labels, fanzines and so on)Of course we also like to meet people interested in our gigs.
