“Is That Blood?” was formed in February 2007, five experienced musicians’ with their own influences were drawn together to create the positive, ground breaking, invigorating and electrifying music they play today. Throughout 2007, “Is That Blood?” grew as a band and their music along with it. Playing venues all over JHB and creating a name for themselves. Sadly in November 07, “Is That Blood?” said goodbye to a brother, their vocalist left, to pursue a different path.However this was not the end, after months of auditioning vocalists and forming many friendships along the way, the answer was right under their noses. ‘Is That Blood?” are back with a new line! Their strong mixture of melodic metal, and metal-core, combined with numerous influences creates the sound that is… IS THAT BLOOD? Clean melodic vocals that raise the hairs on your neck from the drummer Roy and screaming vocals that tear your ears from Dave the guitarist. Now a four piece Is That Blood? are tighter and closer than ever.Is That Blood? OH YES!!!
