I am here for Friends

About Me

There's really nothing new going on with me. I still haven't found anything useful to do with my Mathematics degree, so I'm still doing the same old thing - filling grocery stores with advertisements. Not exactly fulfilling, but it has some upside. I have three four-day-weekends a month that I really should be using to find a better job but just end up doing things around the house and watching movies from Netflix. The good news is that I am making enough money to be able to pay more than just the minimum on my student loans every month, but I'd really like to be able to set aside enough to afford an awesome HDTV and an X-Box 360 so I could waste even more time playing video games.I lost about 50 lbs after I graduated, and for a couple days in October (before all the Halloween candy) was actually not overweight for the first time since elementary school. I'm pretty happy about that, but I still really need to build up some muscle and get a little less flabby. I would like to spend more time biking, but aside from the spring, it's mostly too hot, humid, cold, rainy, windy, or snowy for my taste.I need more excuses to get out of the house, but most of my friends around here seem to work odd hours, so it's hard to make plans with anyone. Every once in a while I go out to Senor Java's to drink very reasonably priced beverages and chat with the friendly people there. I get back out to Madison every few months to see my friends out there, but not nearly as often as I would like because of the price of gas and the frequent snow we've had this winter. I don't do as good a job keeping in touch with people as I should, so sorry if you don't hear from me much, it's not that I don't love you, it's just that I'm easily distracted. I tend to update my facebook page a lot more often than myspace, so if you actually want to keep in touch with me, that's a pretty good way. I'm also on AIM at least part of the day. Or Yahoo!, MSN, or ICQ. Whichever you please.
