" Riddim Kingz - Stuttgart's maddest and baddest in Hip-Hop-Reggae " The Riddim Kingz Clikk consists of the members and MCs Jr. Pepsi Brown, Mark Majestic, Young Shakes and Chizzaman a.k.a Mad Scientist. All of them started as MCs/Chatters of well known Dancehall-Reggae-Soundsystems outa Stuttgart/Germany.
Mad Scientist (Croatia) and Mark Majestic (Jamaica) were formerly members of the Blessed Love Soundsystem, one of the first ten German Soundsystems ever and were also founding members of the Skillbattery Soundstation in the year 2000. Jr. Pepsi Brown (Egypt) was member of the Lucky Punch Soundsystem for many years until he left in 2004 to join the Riddim Kingz. The youngest member is Young Shakes (Thailand), a very talented young rapper who started hangin’ out with the Kingz in 2006. The musical background of all members (first band projects) goes back to the early 90ies, however a detailed biography would be too extensive to be presented here.
From 2000-2004 Mad Scientist and Mark Majestic were producers of the first official Dancehall-Reggae-Radioshow on a public radiostation in Germany. The show named DANCEHALL MADNESS RADIOSHOW had approximately 250.000 listeners per show and set a new medial trend in the scene. (nowadays we have more than 10 radioshows in Germany). The show and their soundsystem business brought them into contact with lots of artists like: Capleton, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Degree, Elephant Man, Lexxus, Ward 21, T.O.K., Kip Rich, Alozade, Hawkeye, Jah Mason, Dawn Penn, CeCile, Tanya Stephens, Lady G etc. Tour bookings as support act followed...
After the termination of the radioshow (we were charged for political incorrectness) they focused on private soundprojects. In 2004 Riddim Kingz Productions was founded and became Stuttgart’s new Reggae-HipHop-Sensation. In May 2005 the R.K.-Studio was finished and the first recording sessions started. In May 2007 the R.K.-Street-Tape Vol.01, feat. 20 full-length-tracks will finally hit the streets! So stay tuned and don’t miss the real badman show, seen…!?
