Television:
About the only shows that I watch are 24 and (if I can remember to catch it) Heroes. Maybe a rerun of the original Kolchak: the Night Stalker, Firefly, Hogan's Heroes, Mystery Science theater 3000, Star Trek TOS or Band of Brothers, if it's on.
Books:
Have begun the new Thieves World series (Sanctuary is still the mad bomb). The Bible. Dream Park, by Larry Niven and Steven Barnes (Take the holodeck from Star Trek, strip it down to a more primitive version, and turn it into a theme park).
