Monkee Munschkin!!!

About Me

A few tracks from my days in Vegas. I haven't done any solo stuff since then. Since then, I moved back to Illinois, graduated from SIU-C (engineering and aviation technologies), realized my dream of playing drums in a rock'n'roll band (The Scrutineers!), got married, moved to Florida, worked at Kennedy Space Center as a Systems Integration Engineer on the Space Shuttle. Currently living in Seattle and working as an electromagnetic compatibility test engineer at Boeing. Our first baby is due Feb. 19! She doesn't like loud music (yet!), so the music's on hold for now. But I'm hoping she's got long fingers because we still need a bass player. Yep, that's about it for now. embed enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal" src="http://lads.myspace.com/slides/slideshow_random.swf?u=1 6585137" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="426"

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Marcy Rugland - songwriter, guitars, bass, drumsJeff Wisner - Producer, guitars, programming ("Killing Time" & "Cracked")
Influences: Back then it was post-teen angst, boys, cigarettes, and alcohol. Nowadays? Hmm, sometimes I wonder if I'm beginning to feel too well-adjusted for rock'n'roll! Ok, so I don't sound like any of these, but here's the music I like: I am a big ol' '80's butt-rocker. My first records were Quiot Riot "Metal Health" and Def Leppard "Pyromania". I've got "Shout at the Devil" on my turntable right now. My prized possession is my AC/DC "Back In Black" 8-track I got autographed by Angus. Guns N Roses, Ozzy, Billie Holiday, Armitage Shanks, Magic Slim, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, John Phillip Sousa, The Who, The Kinks, Rezillos, Cheap Trick, Led Zeppelin, The Runaways, Guided By Voices, The Beatles, Benny Goodman, The Joneses, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Ellis Paul, Steve Miller Band, the rest of my 8-track collection, AND I AM NOT THE FEMALE NEIL DIAMOND!
Sounds Like: Music for deaf people
Type of Label: None

Canada, good God ya'll, what is it good for?

We were trying for an hour to find our way out of Canada. The map was awful. I was scared. We finally made it out. I never thought I'd be so happy to see the "Welcome to USA" sign....

We need to find a new bass player...

One who doesn't say, "Yeh, I think I'm gonna move back to California in six weeks."  Our new band shall be called Money Laundromat.

Armitage Snakes

(...because there were pictures of Snakes as well as Armitage Shanks on the memory card, if you must know). They don't call it The Funhouse for nothing! Saw the Armitage Shanks there last night. ...
