Hey, this is the "MYSPACE SUPPORT PAGE" of John David Gale, 27 years old guy and we, fans, want to support him as we believe in his great talent.
John David Gale was born near Aberystwyth in Wales in 1980 and moved to live in Tenerife at the age of three. In his early years his natural ability and stage presence was clear to see as he became known for his impromptu performances, of classic 50's rock, with live bands.
In 1994, after living in Australia for a few years, where he was the winner of various talent competitions, he settled on the Costa del Sol. Shortly after his arrival at the age of 14 he won "The Young Entertainer of the Year Award" in Marbella. His acting career soon flourished and he was awarded "Best Young Actor" at the 1995 Costa del Sol Drama Festival, for his roles in several short plays. He started on the Costa del Sol cabaret scene aged 16 as "Jake Blues" in a two man Blues Brothers act, and then became the energetic frontman for an eight piece Soul Band. His career started to thrive as he developed his own solo stage show which filled the nightspots near Marbella.
His one-man-show illustrated his sheer versatility. Such a young performer with such raw talent. The content varied with different sets ranging from Frank Sinatra and Big Bands, to The Blues Brothers and soul legends (James Brown, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, Jackie Wilson and more). And he'd leave audiences dumbstruck with the immense energy and groove of his Rock'n'Roll set as he would throw himself around the stage and the dance floor to the classic beats of the 1950's (Bill Haley, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis and more).
Meanwhile he became very well know as on the acting and was offered many leading roles. He gave a memorable performance as "Mickey" in Willey Russell's "Blood Brothers", he stole the show as "Judas" in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and he astounded audiences with his portrayal of "Danny" in "Grease".
In 2005 John signed a recording contract with RNM (Rockin'Nation Music Ltd.) and quickly produced a concept album of different styles of rock and pop music in order to find his direction in the difficult "music business". Unhappy with the songs he had to sing, and the direction he was being guided in, John was advised by his long term musician friend, Anthony Caputo, to write songs. Putting pen to paper John quickly discovered his talents as a lyricist but with his classic rock musical background he searched for influence and assistance on the music side of his song writing.
