AVED BEND, an undeniably fresh, Austin-based musical force, is the product of four passionate and purposeful artists. Before moving to Texas, founding member Brooke Aved performed regularly in northern California nightclubs, where her vocals, style, and songwriting garnered her comparisons to such far ranging stars as Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Amiee Mann, and Amy Lee. Known throughout the North Bay as the Napa Valley Songbird, Aved’s angelic voice is as powerful as it is seductive. Matt Bayuk (drums) and Charles Avelon (bass) have been making music together for over a decade. Their quest for success landed them in Austin, where a chance open mic night encounter led them to Aved. Aved Bend is currently propagating a considerable buzz throughout the greater Austin area, and has already planned a California tour for Sping 2008.
