WHEN THE FUCK DID WE GET ICE CREAM?

About Me

Well where do I start? Ok, I was born in the friggin cold ass month of February of the year 1980 in a once small town of Leominster Massachusetts to two wonderful parents. I spent the first 6 years of my life in a city that we locals in New England pronounce as Gadnah Hey! at the mysterious age of 6 we packed up our shit and moved west to the small, tiny ass town of Orange, MA. I went to a new school starting off in the 1st grade (where else would I start?) making some friends and making a lot of enimies. I got beat up a lot. Somehow I was different, but I didnt know why. I guess it was because I spoke it how it was and opened my mouth too much. We lived in Orange for 10 crazy years and the moved back east to the next town, called Athol, MA. I went to a new school and made more friends and not as many enimies. I was starting to be liked more. I had trouble in school and ended up dropping out. FUCKING Idiot!!! That was the single most idiotic movie I ever did. I then worked in factories and at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area as kitchen worker and eventually a lift operator. I then went into retail sales and crap like that. I became an Eagle Scout in 1998. Probably one of the better things I have done up to that point in my life. I have made some stupid decisions and some wise decisions in my life. In 2002-2003 I started talking to Emily on the net, and we got to know each other a little bit, and in December of 2003 she and her father came to Athol so that we could meet. We did and it was kind of awkward. A couple days later she invites me to her house for xmas with her family. I went which was still kind of awkward. But I liked her. A few months went by and she went back to school, and we didn't talk all that much. I was starting to think that there was no hope. until one day she invited me to go to Easter Sunday church service with her. I went up and thats where I think it clicked. I gave her a hug before I left and we made plans to meet again soon. In April of 2004 we met up in Concord NH and we hung out. I was still nervous so I kind of rushed the date (I really wish I hadn't) but at the conclusion of the date we hugged and she didn't want to let go. That is when I knew that we were going to be together. She started coming to my house often and I remember the night I kissed her. I aksed her to be my girlfriend on May 20th 2004 and of course she said yes. We started dating and in February of 2005 she moved in with me. May 28th while at a U2 concert in Boston, I proposed to her during the song Beautiful Day. With eyes lit up and full of tears she said yes. we spent the next year planning the wedding. and on May 20th 2006 (two years to the day that we started dating) we got married. We honeymooned in Aruba and had the time of our life. I got a job in Jan 2006 I started working for Sodexho at Keene State College in Keene. I wasnt enjoying it, and one day on my day off or one of my sick days, I was watching tv and there was a news cast about a local culinary school. I was into cooking and I had been told by many people to make it a career because I guess I was good and had talent. I applied to this school which was really a dumpy certificate program. I was told that I needed a high school diploma or GED. OH MY GOD!! I felt like an idiot. So that day I took a ride to Holyoke Community College and signed up to take the GED Test. They scheduled my GED test for JULY 10, 11, and 12 of 2006. At that time I had taken a position at The Gardner Ale House in Gadnah. But when the time came to take the 3 days off to take my GED test, they told me that I couldnt cause they were too understaffed. WELL tough shit. I took the days off and never went back to the Ale House. I passed the test and got my diploma. In September Emily and I took a trip out to Hyde Park, NY to check out the Culinary Institute of America. I immediately fell in love with the place. I applied there about a month later. Now this is the Harvard of Culinary Schools. anyway, I ended up not getting accepted to the certificate program school, but in February 2007 I received a phone call from my Admissions Rep from CIA and he told me that I had been accepted to The Culinary Institute of America. WOW!!! I was originally going to start in Jan 2008 but Emily and I moved to Hyde Park, NY in the beginning of November and I was anxious to start so I asked if there was any openings earlier than Jan, and there was. So I started school at the CIA on December 3, 2007. and I am starting my new life, and going to be successful. That is all I have about me. I am sure there is more but my figers are tired from typing this and I need to get going to class. If you would like to know more, or want to hear or read any stories just let me know. Dude! You're 100% from Massachusetts!

Dude! Me and Sully and Fitzie and Sean are gonna hit Landsdowne tonight after the game, hang out at the Beerworks. I'll pick you up at the Coop at 6.
How Massachusetts are you?
