Ivonne Contardo began studying cello at the age of nine. She continued with studies of Afro-American music at Rytmus Music Conservatory, followed by studies of classical music at Birkagården Folkhögskola.She is currently involved in various projects: Mainly as singer/cellist/composer in "The Contardos". She also performs as cellist/backing vocals with Martin Ekman, and as a singer in Matteuskören.
