Fumitaka Anzai

A councilor of Jasrac.

Composer, Arranger, Fumitaka Anzai is known to the public for his outstanding works in Animation Soundtracks and also for his knowledge of latest computer technology.

Fumitaka was born in Yokohama Japan. His father being professional violin player, he began his piano lessons at age of 4.

At age of 17, Fumitaka won the prize at Roland Synthesizer Tape Contest and there after he began playing and composing professionally. And surprisingly few years later he performed with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

The first big breakthrough for him was writing soundtracks for mega hit animation "Uruse Yatsura" in 1983. Soundtrack album was released through Pony/Canyon and became most successful soundtrack of the year.
