TWIN TALE:
Once, when the world wasn’t as organised as today, a couple of twins were born. They were not human, not animals and had no faces at first. One was dark, the other light, so amazingly different and unalike. They were scared of one another and whenever they had the chance, they ran in different directions. They lived separately for some time (years or ages, no one really knows). Their different skills and values showed in all aspects. To survive, for instance, they had to face the fact that they were hunters. One was ashamed and hunted at night, the other found it funny and hunted at every given chance. Then one day, starving, they were both attracted to the same prey. A beautiful and attractive piece of meat (some think it was a man others a beast, maybe a combination, remember the world wasn’t organised at all). At an instant they jumped and fought to exhaustion, ate and lost consciousness.
Time passed, and as they slowly awoke, they were facing a new world. Twice as colourful, beautiful and safe. They looked at each other, paralysed, because now they were confronted with their own reflection. Two beautiful brunettes faced each other. Two bodies but only one mind no longer isolated good or evil thoughts. At the same time they were fascinated and scared; two opposite emotions so unknown. Was it a curse or was it a gift? Today they are still searching for the answer.
