I LOVE Football - Go Bucks!! AND Golfing, even though I don't go enough! My parents have always had a boat, and I love spending those hot summer days and warm evenings lounging out on the lake. I have been skiing since I was young. Where would we be without nature? Hiking, camping, floating down the river... I could go on for hours... Rollercoasters are definitely a favorite past time. Cedar Point and Kings Island are great weekend getaways. The Ocean - I can't get enough of the sandy beaches, pounding waves, sun, salt, birds, dolphins, Turtles, Manatees, fish, cranky crabs, snorkeling... Hmmm...
I'd like to meet:
Hmmm... Nature and Sports Junkies like Myself! People who enjoy intellectual conversation. People who can talk about sensitive subjects and still be civil and respectable towards others.
Music:
I am undoubtedly a COUNTRY girl. Don't get me wrong, I listen, occasionally, to other music... I have to, my sister and friends like other music and I can't have it my way all the time! Besides, sometimes you just have to shake it, and usually you can't do that to a good country song! Right Ladies!!
Movies:
I like movies as much as the next person... I just usually would prefer to watch them in the comfort of my own home, on my couch, with a few naps before it's over.
Television:
Ugly Betty and Greys Anatomy are the shows I CAN'T miss! If I have plans, then I read the VCR manual and learn how to record. Law and Order: SVU is another favorite... I guess I like all the Law and Orders, but for some reason this one is must see for me. The guy cop is Bad Ass! I LOVE Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel, WOSU and the Nature programs they have. I am a News Junkie also... One of my favorite channels in CNN... don't knock it till ya try it! ;-)
Books:
Last book: 50 Ways To Save The Ocean. Definitely Recommend It! Great Gatsby, Scarlet Letter, Midsummer Nights Dream, Voyage Out, At Fault, The Awakening, Desiree's Baby, Mrs. Dalloway.
Heroes:
I have so many heros. I respect everyone out there who productively expresses their thoughts in a pro-active manner that provides postive outcomes. I look up to women who have accomplished success and raised a respectable and caring family. My heart melts for all of those men who love their mothers, but put thier wife first. I admire the strengths that voluneers show when they knowingly put thier lives in danger to save or help another. My heroes are everyone who stand up for who they are and don't let anyone surpress thier true self. I admire those who lovingly respect and honor their significant others, no matter how often or the degree of differences.
