I am here for Friends

About Me

I have curly hair, I'm short sighted, colour blind and left handed. But it's not all good. In a perfect world there would be no need to work, as I could happily fill my days with all sorts of things - listening to music, strumming guitars, watching movies, reading books and travelling being top of the list. I like three part harmonies, onion gravy and writing. Well, I like the idea of writing, I like talking about writing and thinking about writing. It's just the actual writing thats seems, somehow, tricky. As Douglas Adams once said "I like deadlines. I like the sound they make as they pass by." I sing (quite well) and play guitar and bass (not so well) in a covers band, and have a couple of musical projects on the go. I have an unhealthy obsession with California, and a much healthier one with Cornwall. Oh, and I do the odd bit of extras-ing too - docu-dramas mostly because I have splendid Victorian hair. Apparently.

C30, C60, C90 gone!

So there I was, wittering on about recording LPs onto one side of a C90 cassette, and I missed Currys announcing it's death. Last year they only sold 100,000, as opposed to the 83 million sold in 1989...
