Birthday Party for the Universe!

About Me

The "Birthday Party" was created by myself and my wonderful friend, Tatiana Koch. Tatiana is the artist responsible for these beautiful paintings and without her financial and creative support this project would have just remained a good Thought. (www.tatianakoch.com) Five of the Painting depict the theoretical beginning of the Universe followed by the creation of sub-atomic particles (depicted as atoms); the Sun, the Earth and Creation. Paintings are 4'x4'and 4'x8'. The last three are again theoretical suggesting the possible evolutionary paths that this realization of Being the Consciouness of the Universe could lead us. Participants place their faces into the holes in the paintings and can view themselves with the use of large mirrors. There is also a sound track that is optional. At the conclusion there are games, prizes and i provide a polaroid picture of you in your favorite painting. FUN. I and my friends believe that the information that is available to us regarding the origin of how we came to Be is of vital importance for the next paradiem. We are Light that Became Life and the Life is the Consciouness of the Universe. Welcome and Happy Birthday!!

I'd like to meet:

I am a performance artist and I live in Vancouver, Wa. I moved here from Santa Fe, Nm. I will be setting up the "Birthday Party" in the spring and will continue until winter. Sorry but can't do rainy days. I will be at Ester Shore park on Fridays and Saturdays. I will also be in the Portland area. I will alternate. I would love to meet folks of like minds. If you would like to help set up/ take down and/or hang out and have fun or have other ideas (drum circle w/dancing?) Please contact me. Also interested in creating Cosmic Consciousness centered events or other similar themes. Would also be great to do an indoor collaboration with other like minded artists.
