About Me

The Work at Home Community
IMPORTANT: We are two real people. Check out our personal profiles on our 'top 8'. We hate oversized, annoying, flashy adds. They are deleted off our comments and we promise not to do that to yours.
If you are anything like us you have probably read and possibly tried tons of different work at home and get rich quick schemes. Most of these turn out to cost a whole lot and not produce any results. So you’re stuck and looking for the next idea.
We are real people both of us work full-time jobs that pay well but we like to earn a little side money. So we create multiple streams of income. Instead of getting a second job we invest in home based businesses. We have tried dozens of these of businesses. Some have succeeded and others have simply failed. So we go on to another idea or another business and see where that takes us. We have the time and money to invest in 'business opportunities' so we do.
Whenever we research a new work at home business opportunity or idea we take into account many various factors.
First, we want the program to be user friendly and easy for a beginner. This is very important because we want anyone to be able to use it.
We then check compensation plans or calculate how much the business would make. We ask questions such as: How much comission/profit do we make? How much do we need to sell? How often are we paid? These are all questions we ask and answer when researching and evaluation a business.
Of course we take into consideration cost. How much does the program/set up cost? Is there a monthly fee? What do we get? Is this going to cost more than we make?
Then we evaluate the product. What kind of industry is it? Is the industry growing? What does the stock market look like? Can we target and identify a specific group to market to? The product is incredibly important, the right product is essential to create a booming business.
Once we have evaluated the company, business opportunity, product, idea and ease of use, we decide if it is something we want to pursue. If it is then the evaluation continues through sign-up, the starter-kit, set-up and so on. Again we want all of our recommendations to be user friendly. If we can't make money off of it we certainly would not recommend it to anyone.
We then measure how long it takes to make a profitable business. We calculate our profit/loss during that time period and project what the growth potential is.
If after a year we have lost significantly more than we make we evaluate and decide why the business failed. We ask questions to answer this. Is the market for this product dead? Could there have been more done on our part to promote the business? Are there to many people digging into our profit? Where is all the expense? Is there anything we can cut back on such as advertising or inventory purchases?
Then comes our final approval or disapproval. Because most of our research is for informative purposes we do consider selling the business or we keep it if it is something we like and/or make money from.
We've finally decided to share our knowledge with the world and not in the form of a $49.99 e-book. No, we wanted to share what we know for free. We think others should benefit from these ideas and businesses and learn how to make them work. Let's be honest, no one likes to fail, it sucks. It is a huge let down that can make you feel completely defeated. Although we can't guarantee that your business will work but we can commit to helping and providing you with the tools needed to make it work. We only hope others can learn something from us and our experiences.
