About Me

Close to a new year. New year means new things. New things means more to look forward to. 2006 has been a year with so many ups and downs.. More than I could have handled. That's why I am welcoming 2007 with open arms.
What do you want to know about me? Born and raised in the 'hood' [4 years spent in Washington Heights, NY aka Spanish Harlem to be exact] and grew up in northern jersey suburbia. Raised by two loving, hard-working parents. Sister to my oldest best friend in the world. Went to public school for grammar and middle school, and ventured on to an all girls Catholic academy for high school. Then went to a huge state school for college. Would not change any part of my younger years for anything. All the lessons I have learned during those times have made me who I am today.
I have a huge group of friends, tight group of girlfriends, and three best friends [Ate Carla. Kristy Lynn. Michael Roy]. Besides my family, these individuals are my support system. I trust them with all my heart. I treasure my friendships with them, and hold them close to my heart.
I have an affinity for pop culture, traveling, fashion, music, food (eating out in nyc), cupcakes(!), palm trees, sunny soCal, warm blankets, chunky sweaters, leg warmers, art museums, shopping (for great bargains), reading magazines, learning about my Filipino culture, photography, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. I am trying to get back into past hobbies, which include painting and drawing.
Fears? Losing loved ones, failure, and dancing like an Asian girl.. The last fear? Yeah, that's a real one.
Loves? Family [both here in the States & the Philippines], friends, my apartment & everything in it.. Oh yeah, and my boyfriend, Michael ..<052304>.. He's the one I want to be with forever♥♥ when you know, you just know...
