About Me

Calaloo Sound System, originaire de la région parisienne, monte sur la scène en 2000 grâce à la complicité de Mighty Lion (Animateur), Tounzy (Ingénieur du son), Nattyral Tiben (Sélecteur) , Kung-Fu (Sélecteur) et Admiral Lee ( selecteur). Tous cinq passionés de reggae, ils animent leurs soirées de façon volcanique selon la tradition jamaicaïne, avec 45 tours, dubplates, specials et remixs. Ils travaillent en collaboration avec les plus grands noms de la musique Afro-caribéenne tels que Beenie Man, Capleton, Buju Banton, T.O.K, Alton Ellis, Luciano, Daddy Mory, Tonton David, Krys et bien d'autres... En 2005, Calaloo a terminé 4ème du Championnat de France des sounds Systems. En 2006, il a enflammé les scènes de la Loco, du Gibus, du Bataclan, du Cabaret Sauvage, de la Java, de l'espace des peupliers et a résidé dans le 1er restaurant jamaicaïn de la capitale "La Renaissance". En 2007 il sort vainqueur du sound clash "WAR OVER THE BORDER". Debut 2008 participation au "REGGAE SOUTHCLASH". Resident au CAES à ris orangis. Il a conquit les plus grandes villes de France telles que Lille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulouse, Tours, Metz, Rennes, Amiens, Bagnols-sur-Ceze(Ja'sound festival) , mais aussi l'Europe, Londres, Bruxelles, Gent, Chemnitz (de).MORE MUSIC click on the TAPECheck out this MySpace MP3 Player !

Calaloo was born in the year 2000, it was composed by Mighty lion (m.c), Dr.Toonzie (sound ingeneer), Tiben (selector), Kung fu ( selector) and admiral lee (selector). All of them, reggae music addicts. Calaloo play like the jamaican way, that is to say, 7inches, dubplates, remixes...and full up a vibes for the people. We also do live alongside the biggest artist from france and international, like Tiwony, Straika d, Caporal nigga, Mickee 3000,Murray man, Echo minott,etc... Calaloo was ranking 4th in the french cup and burn down stages from the hottest place in paris like the "moulin rouge"(la loco), le bataclan, le cabaret sauvage,etc... We won the international soundclash "war over the border", we also did summertours in the south of france regulary. We participate in the "reggae southclash 2k8". We conquered the biggest towns, like: Lille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulouse, Tours, Metz, Rennes, Amiens, Bagnols-sur-Ceze and we also play over europe as well. We played in London (uk), Brussels, Gent (be), Chemnitz (de) UNOOH READY FI DI NEXT EPISODE!?...
