Add to My Profile | More Videos Poles Apart first gig was New Year's eve 2000, at a big event, on the banks of the Thames. Wow, well, it was hard to go from there. We specialise in live music, as a band, on stilts; and we endeavour to have the highest quality and entertaining music to complement our fabulous costumes. We have played at The Millennium Dome, Commonwealth Games, Athens Olympics, Glastonbury Festival, Canary Wharf, Portsmouth Festival of the Sea, Henley Regatta, Wembley Stadium, Earls Court, Portsmouth Christmas Dockyard, Portuguese TV station opening, Norwich/Leicester/Exeter Town festivals, Winchester Hat Fair, Streets of Brighton, Cowes Regatta. Numerous corporate gigs including playing at least a dozen times at The Natural History Museum and Science Museum, National Gallery..... on and on and on. We are extensively an outdoor music/stilts/theatre group and we comprise of sousaphone, banjo/vocals, sax, percussion/vocals. We play everything from trad jazz to rock 'n' roll, disco, funk and heavy metal.
