When well accomplished musicians get together for a jam session something good always comes out of it . Be it good sound , good relationships , good times, and even great commaraderie.Well that is what happened with us. Getting together every Monday night at a semi open jam , we found one another . The energy that was created when we jammed together was undeniably electric. Monday nights turned into Mondays and Wednesdays . Then one day we all had the great idea of coming together and creating our own sound together.The energy level is always taken up a notch when we all jumped in the pot together and jam.So if you enjoy some classic rock , a lil Alternative Sound , some Blues, and a lil R&B come and join us and feel the energy.We knew that we would need a name , but we didnt have a catchy feel for anything then we all got together and decided to let it STEW! Get it Black Beans and Rice .We are still the same band just with a lil more spice . That is why we call our selves Black Beans and Rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Influences: George Thourogood, Pat Benetar , The Beatles , The Eagles, B.B. King, Etta James, Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Jimmie, and so on. The influences are to many to name . I could go on for days , but why when you can see some of the greats that is listed. Music is one of those things that changes with the times, but the greats live on without change. That is what makes them influences.
