What Is and What Should Be..Are Two Different Things....

About Me

Hello, my name is Tim From Cincinnati, in my 50's, and im very grateful ive made it this far. I Currently share an apartment with my furry friend named Bongo, who is a feral cat. I was born and raised up in the Greater Cincinnati area. Graduated from college with degrees in Special Education, and Design. At the age of 8, i was introduced to the "Magic" of photography by my uncle whom worked for Life and Time magazines. He was divorced, and moved in with my family. It was there in my bedroom he taught me The Art of the Camera, Darkroom, and the Print. By 14 i was already hustling making good money..working steady, and created my first photography company "Art Attack" at 19 yrs old.I freelanced photography (specializing in concerts, live productions, art performances, modeling portfolios, newspapers, lawyers, street shooting, or whatever came my way. But, my "Name was worth a Lot more than my "Money" as i would often turn down assignments, if the projects were against my principles. Later, i was hired by a private-facility group home working with "emotionally distured adolescents" as teacher-in residence, photography instructor, and house parent for 4 years. From that point on, i was on the road "shooting" concerts locally, regionally and national acts in the midwest area. Earned a Kodak Grant to expand, and explore (even more) my visual skills to work with children, and senior citizens. My work has been Exhibited. along with a few "One Man shows," as i freelanced for over 28 years...Eventually i took a "break," and along the way i hung my cameras up, when i married my wife Sandy in the 80's. She was one of the "Biggest Joys" in my life. She was a Lab and ER Tech, and was exposed to a deadly viral vapor in the hospital lab. She passed away 7 years later on 12/26/02. Three months later, i was about to embark on my 1st vacation in 19 years, when an uninsured drunk 24 year old girl who "broadsided" the cab i was riding in at approx. 68 mph. I suffered severe head injuries. I was in rehab for 2 years, but i recovered, as the Drs, and God helped me fight my way back to where i am today. At an unexpected point, in which i had to stop working, and filed for SSD. Which i was awarded last year, as i was taken out of my game way too early.Diagnosed now with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PCS (post concussion sydrome) i am still Very blessed, and thankful with very few regrets..For Ive had a Great Life.Meantime? I am now on my pc as its "The Window To My World" And hope to meet as many new, and old friends along my new "Journey in Life"..Im a very laid back guy, good sense of humor, with tons of Compassion and Understanding for those suffering from accidents or illnesses. I love to laugh, love to "look" as i still ocassionally take pics for myself to document my Life as i view it. I enjoy email, talking, listening, and learning, as "Everyone is my Teacher" in Life. Thanks for viewing of my page, and taking the time to get to know me. God bless you all. (I am in the process (with the help of friends) to present a portfolio of my previous work, and excited about taking it online someday soon.
