Music:

I ♥ music!

It totally rocks me. Live, heavy Rock - Metal - Alternative - Grunge - Punk - mabe a little hip hop, what ever flavor of the week it is for me, it turns me on. How can i describe how music makes me feel?

I like it kinda loud so in the moment...

All you can hear is the music

And you FEEL the thumping beat of the drums through your body...

It makes you slowly start to nodd your head to the beat (flash backs of the head-banging days ;-)

Then the progression, the sound gets rich and bold, if you close your eyes you sway with the rhythm...

of course at this point you can't help but sing along (hehe)

then the sound crests and fades,

the last note ringing out into the silence...

maybe a low hum of feedback...

(maybe its just your ears ringing, you aren't really sure...)

and in the moment...

before another sound can interupt...

I feel...

Right

And alive...

and i GET it, u know?

Anyway reading over this i see it sounds lame lol

but if you are one of those who's really into music, i'm sure u get me

To everyone else...

I tried ;-)~

Guitar addiction?

Yea, I'll admit it. The addiction to guitar started Oct/Nov of '05. I met a drummer/guitarist (The Maestro)who played a few songs for me and when i said, wow, i wish i could do that, he said, "you should try it" and the rest is history.

I have 3 Guitars now, two amplified acustic, one electric. The Luna is the cool acustic one with a "flip" green/purple finish when u turn it in the light.

But what i can't put down is my Martin! It's unfinished and the wood is beautiful, it makes the neck fast and the sound full and throaty, i love it!

My newest is the Ibanez SG? It's got the body of the Gibson Les Paul and it's army green baby! Haha!

Hooked on Metallica?

YES ;-)~Metallica is my higher power ;-)~ And by that i don't mean i've been in a 12 step program or anything, it's just my strange sense of humor! I've loved music my whole life but really got addicted to rock and metal at 14 when my big sister gave me a Motley Crue "tape" (THAT dates me) titled "Too fast for love" and I loved it. Then her boyfriend said "hey give this a listen, you'll like it better"(it was Metallica's "And Justice for all.." and I said "Who's Metallica?")lol. Then it was on from there.I won't be lame and say "i'm their biggest fan"! But i might say i'm at least an avid listener through long hair, short hair, heavy metal, speed metal, pop/glam metal, changing band members, Orchestras, all of it... and i think their critics are jealous loosers who don't have an ounce of Metallica's talent, never have, never will and they know it. They have nothing better to do than sit around and bash other artists efforts to be brave and step outside the box and see what's on the other side. Ok, that's that soap box, moving right along... ;-)~

Other bands? I love lots of other bands so i'll go ahead and list some off the top of my head and add more as I think of it.

In no particular order i like Queensryche, GREEENDAY, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, Papa Roach, Seven Mary Three, Sublime Weezer, Suicidal Tendencies, SYSTEM OF A DOWN Stabbing Westward,Pink Floyd Saliva, Primus Hinder,Soundgarden, Bad Company, 3 doors down, Slipknot, Cake, Rage Against the Machine, AUDIOSLAVE, Bush, Crazy Town, older Creed, Emenem, Korn, Saliva, 10 YEARS, Sum 41, Chilli Peppers, PEARL JAM, Sevendust, Foo Fighters, G-N-R, 30 seconds to Mars, Avenge Sevenfold, Disturbed Queens of the stone age, The Offspring, NIRVANA, Megadeath, Led Zeppelin, Cold Play, Alice in Chains, Motley Crue, Drowning Pool, Everlast, Pantera Theory of a dead man, Perfect Circle, Beck, TOOL, Incubus, White Stripes, Stone Temple Pilots, Blink 182, Blind Melon, NINE INCH NAILS, Toadies, Black eyed Peas, Kotton Mouth Kings All American Rejects, Stone Sour, Shine Down, Live, Blur, Rob Zombie, Smash Mouth, Linkin park, Hinder, 3 days grace, Crossfade, Staind, and of course...
