The first free Audio Engineering Program in Los Angeles! Crenshaw Recording Studio, Inc. a non-profit agency purpose , unlike a typical after-school program, will provide at-risk young people a unique introduction to the music industry through the medium of a non-profit setting. This program will focus on providing technical assistance to young people age 13-23. Enabling young untapped talent as well as intense technical learning, Past and Current Industry Conditions Protools and Logic 6 has put a strain on commercial recording studio's, with the demand to change and conform- moving out of analog to digital computerized techniques, now is the time to train young people of color the new technique of Audio Engineering Protools (software) Reason. The recording business reached its peak when commercial advertisements were in pursuit of high quality recording. The recording business will remain a competitive business as long as there is continual positive word-of-mouth advertising. They will receive an understanding and development in their skills towards future employment. CRS will be a creative, educational, unique, upscale, innovative environment with the new State of the Art music equipment and technology, to educate for a better understanding of how a recording studio operates on a day to day basis. CRS will meet the tremendous market demand for minorities learning ProTools HD (Audio Engineering). This field is also one that seems to inspire many avenues, ranging from audio engineering to being a music producer, Band development to Union Musicians.
