About Me

I am a twin, I have a twin brother. I like to hang out with the guys but I like to be a girly girl too. We were given out to adoption at birth and raised by a mature couple, good parents. I reunited with my birth mother after twenty two years through a reunion registry and then with her happened across my birth father quite by accident.I am really very blessed to know her and have a good friend now that my parents have passed on to heaven. I try to show all the love I thought I did or didn't get to my children regardless of what I think I deserve. If it weren't for Jesus in my life, I would get what I truly deserve which is the grave and hell, but He loves me beyond life itself so I owe everything to Him. God gave up the only one who wouldn't sin for me so I know He'll see me through mine, Amen?

I am the mother of three beautiful Marlo=ettes. We get along just fine and I am learning more and more from them as they enter middle childhood. I work very hard to grow where God has planted me. There must be a reason for all this, don't you think because it's too complex to be an accident. Speaking of accidents, I've seen a few. I used to brag that I never broke a bone while my twin broke one just about every year, joking him to no end about being a klutz. Well, about ten years ago, I started catching up. I've shattered my elbow, T-boned my humerus and twisted fractured my tibia and fibula. Thanks to 2 plates, a coral bone graph, a titanium rod, a pin, and about 16 screws and lots of prayers of the saints, God and a few miracles I AM MADE WHOLE. I thank God I can do everything I used to and probably more (!) and if I can't I don't know what it is or miss it. All I know is I could hold my sweet babies and run around after them, and that to me is number one. Needless to say, I will not be showin my skills as roller disco queen anymore...ahem....
HipHop GraphicsI love my church family and happily don't belong to any denomination because life has too many rules already and I am having a hard enough time getting in line with the ones in the bible to have to worry about some man's rules.
Christian MySpace GraphicsMy job has taken me many ways from learning how to act in plays to playing with kids who act to learn. And it continues to surprise me daily. I am in a play that runs at the end of this month. I can't wait for my return to the stage! I travel giving support to centers of early learning who have joined a statewide initiative to improve the literacy and learning environment for low income children. I am also involved in a program to increase awareness of the importance of the role of mentoring in the teaching environment. I've been invited next year to give a presentation at the ODE-OAEYC conference in Columbus on the mentoring project.
HipHop GraphicsI worked last summer with some youth in a career camp counseling them on the early childhood field. these kids blew me away with their exceptional behaviors and abilities. There are so many kids out there (and adults) who need dedicated teachers who are willing to set aside bias and their goals to share a future with the kids. so many are falling through the cracks and then driving half of us crazy trying to manage the interventions. I just wish i could reach out to all those kids and pull them up. i pray the kids i taught will be some of those teachers that make a difference in the lives of future generations.I edited my profile at Free Christian MySpace Layouts , check out these Christian Myspace Layouts!I have a AKC registered Red (Chocolate) Labrador Retriever named "Noe Jesus Bearsrsin" who I got when he was 5 weeks old. My brother shares custody with me, as he is a wonderful 'buddy' dog and loves having a hunting companion and a pickup truck to ride in. He spends time with me when my brother is golfing or partying or working far away building a house.

what a relief

It's nice when you have goals, plans and hopes but when something in your life is preventing you from carrying them out and that something is invisible to you, you will keep running up against a brick...
