Del Rio Band

The Del Rio Band was formed in 1993 by Mark Owens in Longview, Texas. Mark was the lead vocalist and lead guitar with Jerry Stouar on bass and Joe Clark on drums. In 2004, Jerry Stouar and Joe Clark both left the band. Steve Langford joined Mark as the drummer, and they tried out several bass played but none seemed to have the sound Mark was wanting. At the same time, Dickie Sherman had a band called Lock Stock & Barrel in Dallas area. Mark had sat in with the band several times, and there seemed to to be a chemistry between him and Dickie. Finally in 2005, Mark Owens, Steve Langford and Dickie Sherman joined forces as the Del Rio Band. The band had finally found the sound they wanted with Mark as lead, Steve on bass and Dickie on drums. Del Rio Band Plays country, blues and classic rock and roll for Private parties, weddings, street dances, benefits and clubs.
