Where can I begin...Music is more than a genre to me...Its more than somthing that I just "developed", or "grew to love"...I didnt develop any skill because Its been a part me since the start of my existence..Its part of my DNA, part of my everyday functions, just as walking, talking, breathing and hearing is...Im...well..Im one of but a few...blessed ones...I've been singing since I can remember being here,(To be politcally correct we'll just say about 3 yrs old), And at the age of 8, I became a member of my churches Adult Choir..It was around that time that I started to notice that I sang a lil different than the average person... It was also around that time that I fell in love with this new sensation, R.hythm A.nd P.oetry...hip hop..I began rapping at the age of 9 and at 10, wrote my first full length rap. by the time I was a freshman In high school,..I had already written over 200 Songs, and at the age of 14, I recorded my first professional album. Already being compared to vocal powerhouses like Wanya of Boyz II Men, Kevin "Dino" Conner of H-Town, Joe, Sisqo of Dru Hill, and Stokely of Mint Condition, it wasnt long before I perfected my craft..At the age of 16 I met up with Benjamin Foster, and Keith Myers. We immediately got well connected and started a R&B group called "Xpression"..We developed a very wide fanbase from perfomances and radio play, and in 1997 released our 1st cd entitled "In Tha Mood"..It sold very well in the Midwest region. We performed with artists such as Jagged Edge, David Hollister, Immature, Case, Public Announcement, Ginuwine, Nelly and the St. Lunatics, Crucial Conflict, Do or Die, The Canton Spirituals, Kurrupt, Twista, Roger Troutman and Zapp, and many more. We came across many major deals and offers, but most were false dreams and selfish schemes..so none fell through. Individual differences and conflicts arose, eventually resulting in the dismemberment of Xpression. In 2002 I hooked up Evander Holyfield through a friend of mine here in Atlanta..He heard my music and loved what I had to offer, and I was immediately signed to his label "Real Deal Records as a songwriter and producer..I am currently the Co-CEO of my own record label..The fellas from my group and myself have gotten back together, changing our names from "Xpression, To "BlaqMale,... and we took what we learned from the industry, good and bad, and started our own label, Dunn Deel Entertainment. I have my own Production team..Da Beat Freekaz..be lookin out them blazers!..Life is Good...Stay wit us!!
